The hotel is located very close to the national theater and very easy to get to by train from the airport. I booked a double room because it was the same price as a single and I am so glad I did. I was on the seventh floor and my room allowed a nightly sunset. The staff, all of the staff was extraordinary, the breakfast was ample, and my room was so comfortable. There is a Nespresso maker in your room, but there is also one in the lobby, which is where I chose to make my coffee every day. As a single female traveler, I felt very safe coming back to the hotel late at night, which is very important to me. Matias!!! He saved me because I booked a very expensive Uber from the hotel to the airport the morning of my departure. He guided me to a bus that was around the corner from the hotel, which allowed me to get to the airport in plenty of time for my 6:20 AM flight out of Oslo!! It was my first stay at this Thon chain of hotels, but with it will not be my last. Very highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Europa. The breakfast was amazing, the staff was awesome, the beds where comfy and it was located in a great location. The only downside was the walls were thin and it was nosy. Otherwise we loved it. Would stay again.

My room was in the back of the building. I accepted it because of expecting quiet. And it was very quiet. However, the frying oil smell starting very early in the morning was unbearable on the 4th (!) floor. Something needs to be done with the kitchen ventilation.

Great location near the Royal Palace, Karl Johans Gate, and the Nasjonalteateret metro. I had a room at the back which was very quiet. There was a kettle, a fridge and a safe. The breakfast was excellent. I have stayed in many hotels in Oslo and I would definitely return to the Thon Europa.
