Great surprise, stayed longer than planned.
Great experience!
We were driving through Germany and needed at place for the night. We found Gutshof Sparow via hotels.com.
And it was a very good stay. We ended up spending 3 nights at the hotel. The staff was nice, although some of them were not so good at speaking English. And our German was limited.
Very reasonably priced!
The food was good, although a bit "heavy". Not too much salad, lots of cabbage, potatoes and meat. Much inspired by local hunting traditions.
Breakfast was varied and of a high quality. Breakfast-staff was nice and quick to serve coffee.
The wellness facilities were included in the stay, much to our surprise. Good, small swimming pool, several types of showers, steambath, whirlpool, sauna.
Our biggest surprise was the area surrounding the buildings. Lots of cozy nooks for picnics etc. Well divided areas with paths, trees. Exciting playground for kids, fort, pirate-ship. Nice pond with lots of fish.
Only 8 minute drive from Malchow, with nice lakeside marina and cafés.
2 hours north from Berlin.
If we get the chance to go back, we would prefer to go with other families and rent one of the appartment houses.
Ringhotel Gutshof Sparow is recommendable!
