When we arrived there had been a small snowstorm. The snow had almost stopped falling but the area outside the door had not been shoveled. I slipped in the snow and nearly fell down. My knee was very badly twisted and I cannot walk. Last night I reported this to a young woman at the front desk and asked her to file a report and to provide me with written confirmation that she had done that. She said that she would notify her supervisor who was not on the property. I said that I wanted email confirmation last nigh that I had reported this incident. I did not receive any confirmation. Last night I was unable to sleep because of the pain. I am now going to a hospital in the U.S. to have the knee looked at.

Clean and updated rooms. Walmart and Canadian Tire 1 block away. Shuttle available. Great staff. Comfy beds. Extended parking available if you are flying out sonewhere up to 14 days. Safe and ive never had an issue with my vehicle being parked there.

The room had tons of dirt in the corners of it , the curtains were full of stains . Felt like a cheap motel

I enjoy staying at the Valhalla and generally have a restful stay. Sometimes they don’t give the VIP perk but they did this time. The only troublesome thing was that I booked and paid through Expedia but hotel staff was going to charge me again. They assured me on check out that I wouldn’t be billed a second time.
