"We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the Villa Tea Fields if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. "

"The property must've looked stunning when built, but years of neglect show noticeably. Staff is very friendly but I think they're not very expert in running an accommodation as a business, so it was a lot of hit and miss. The owner must be obsessed with Versace, as everything has been marked with a fake Medusa logo, which more than classy looks tacky (but that's personal taste). The property is very far from everything and only accessible through a narrow scary road, so once you're in you're unlikely to be wanting to leave again. WiFi is way too weak to even check Facebook and only fee rooms have Netflix. Food is lovely but dinner are way overpriced. Location is very nice and secluded. Katerina who is there for a few weeks more is amazing! All in all, I think it is overpriced for what it is. Or the property should make that but if an effort to turn the place around."

Highlights: Amazing food Incredible views Excellent service The waterfall which they offer is a really fun experience It was our honeymoon and my birthday and they make us feel so special and really looked after us. "The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. It was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk into town. The next morning we were given a great breakfast and then walked into the tea field adjoining the property. We watched the local women picking and sorting tea leaves. Certainly an authentic experience as we were in their backyard. The staff we very helpful in organising our dinner to be delivered from a restaurant in town for us. All in all, a wonderful experience that we would recommend, along with the amazing high tea at the Grand Hotel in town."
