We had a wonderful 2-night stay at this property. The location is very good, close to downtown, the Harbor, Tuoro synagogue, and the #67 (free) bus to the mansions. Hospitality and front desk great and morning breakfast and coffee delicious and ample. The room was very cute and clean. Parking on-site and free. Hot cookies every afternoon! We would absolutely return to this property! A great restaurant a15 minute walk away is Jo’s American which has a delicious fixed price dinner!

I loved staying here. I saw it was a 2 star and that doesn’t work for me but the room looks exactly like the pictures and it felt luxe. I lived the quaint feel. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good. Exceeded my expectations.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed historic property just a quick and pleasant 10 min walk to Newport’s main shopping and dining district. Our room had everything we needed, the breakfast was nice, parking convenient. No complaints.

Not a fair review of the gilded. As soon as I turned on the faucet there was a significant leak. It was taken care of swiftly by transfer to a sister property which was also nice. The room looked nice and spacious and I would have been satisfied to stay there. Front desk staff at the property and sister property made the transfer seamless

Great location- walkable to downtown. The rooms are very cute, and its pretty quiet. The breakfast is really good, and they offer a free wine and cheese hour at their sister property. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Walkable to everything my husband and i wanted to do. Lovely, peaceful, and friendly. I just hope they fix that door on suite 205 which was loud and difficult to open and close! I would definitely revisit Gilded!
