Excellent location, but hotel is otherwise poor. If you are happy with very tired rooms, WiFi that doesnt work, zero tea/coffee making facilities etc in exchange for a great location then this is the place for you. But go in with eyes open. This hotel doesn’t spend a penny it doesn’t have to.

GOOD: Very friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance people. The suite was huge by NY Hotel standards, probably larger than the apartments most people live in. Room was quiet and clean. We had a nice view of the Chrysler building. BAD: Two air conditioners. One in the livingroom area didn't work at all. The one in the bedroom was very weak and almost nonfunctional, so the room was uncomfortably warm when we slept. Housekeeping generally forgot one thing every day, though it was different each day. Sometimes towels, sometimes washcloths, sometimes paper cups, sometimes something else.

Wish there was an easier room service option
There was an app to order room service, but it didn’t work for me. That would’ve been the only thing I would have to say that was bad. The staff was efficient friendly. The neighborhood is awesome and lots of options to go out for coffee breakfast and to get to the subway.

Rooms are bare bones. No coffee maker. No water. Have to request ice. Bath towels are scarce so you have to ask for more. They are very thin.

Our stay was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the location was close to the Grand Central Terminal, and amazing restaurants nearby. Would recommend to family and friends!
