The Stay was great , I would definitely book again !! Would have given 5 stars except for some minor things that can be easily fixed. 1. Signage ( hard to find ) 2. T.V. wasn't able to stream ( no local connection ) 3. Was without hot water for about 8 hours , but was fixed.

Beautiful place and location. No TV or parking.
It is a very nice apartment located in an excellent location. It was perfect for what we needed. There were three things that I did not love about it. First, if you have a car know that you will be on your own to find parking which can be fairly expensive and not very close to the apartment. We paid $40 for a garage lot About five blocks away. Second, the keypad to get into the building can be a little bit difficult. It took me several times for me to get the hang of it. The third thing was that there is a TV in the apartment, however, there is no service provided. The only way you can watch the television is to cast from your mobile phone. For such a nice place you would expect there to be at least basic cable or satellite. The casting for us did not work very well for some of the apps we tried to use.

Great property!! The only things that weren’t great were: 1. The parking situation (plus it’s hard to find the actual building. 2. The main bathroom shower had low water pressure and didn’t get hot. Overall it was a great stay and I would go back for sure!!

The place was clean, but furniture was very old and some needed replacing. The handicap room showed a shower in pictures, but came with a tub.. Anyone who is in a wheelchair would not have been able to use the facility.. Not acceptable..

The room itself was amazing. Very updated, clean and spacious. I had a 2 bedroom with high ceilings and a full kitchen. The check in process is a bit laborious due to not having staff on the property but it wasn't too bad and i understand the reason for so many steps. Parking is non-existent so plan on paying for parking at a 3rd party lot or garage. The main entrance is basically a door between 2 storefronts on a very busy street and it is extremely easy to miss. If you can deal with the lack of parking and check-in process, this will be a wonderful stay because again, the room was awesome.

The room was really nice and clean. The hall way to the elevator was trashed. I did receive a subtle form of communication to pardon the inconvenience the property waa under construction. Had I know that I would have opted to stay a a local hotel with all the hotel amenities you could ask for. This property will be nice after the construction. The inconvenience of zero concierge service staying at this property was a waste of money and frankly very disaapointing. The first I've seen from a Sonder's property.

Vitascope is located in the ideal spot. It’s located next to a restaurant and convenient store. It’s only a few blocks from Bourbon Street. The inside is quiet and you don’t hear all the noise from the street. I had two concerns. Food was accidentally left out and ants were coming out of the wall for the food. To stop the ants I had to put a line of dish soap in the crack by the sink which helped. The other concern was having directions on how to work the television. It would have been nice to watch tv while eating a late night snack. Those two things aren’t deal breakers, so I will definitely stay here again.

I write this review with Care. Absolutely beautiful place, clean & classy on the inside of unit.. I did address the issue that my phone sent me a notification saying that there were camera devices in that apartment whenever I walked in. I called them finally, I got a hold of somebody and they told me it was noise monitor in the unit.I find that false as I couldn’t barely hear due to noise outside. With that being said, It left an uneasy feeling inside the unit whenever (female traveling alone) should not feel that way inside. But at the same time whenever I address the issue with the detector, I also address issue of needing an extra blanket and they were quick to respond and send somebody over to give me a blanket so I find my overall experience good.

This property is perfect for a group of people. I didn’t need to speak to anyone throughout my stay. They gave clear instructions as to how to enter the building. I will say there are very few lockers to count on the locker hold before check In. The AC worked but the front bedroom wasn’t as cool as the rest of the apartment. The elevators worked the entire time. There’s multiple stores and culture right below you so you have everything you need! I would recommend and stay there again!

The good: The two bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor was perfect for our stay - in a busy location on the edge of the Quarter, on Canal. Walking distance to everything we needed, and a bodega downstairs for essentials. The A/C was crisp, and the full kitchen was great! The luggage storage came in handy - as was the option to check in early and out late for a small fee that was worth it! The cost of the apartment was very reasonable and we felt it was a good value! What wasn’t great: Sadly, a few things like late into the night volume and early morning dumpster noise interrupting sleep every single day at 5am was a big downside. Noise is to be expected, especially in a city like NOLA, but soundproofing is needed. As other reviews stated, the warm water took a long time to heat up - thankfully in July we didn’t miss it too much - but the broken elevator on day one was also a let down as we had to haul our things up the long staircases. A few times the code for the door didn’t work, and we had to wait to be let in. And lastly, the chicken shop downstairs was cleaning their grills and the smoke set off the fire alarm at 7am, which meant the entire building had to evacuate until the fire department came. There are a lot of great things about this property, but we definitely left feeling exhausted. I’d consider booking again in an off-peak time, or perhaps on a higher floor.
