Excellent location, great views from 15th floor. However, initial reception was not the best. I requested early check-in and was completely dismissed. Customer service and a warm reception could be greatly improved. I saw other guests able to check in earlier and reception varied by staff member.

The carpet in our room looked filthy as well as in the elevator. There are maintenance items that need attention. Elevator carpet over broken tiles. Just a n overall feel of dirty. The property is beautiful but keep in mind it has been hit by three hurricanes in two years so they are rebuilding the pool and other areas again. I would call ahead to find out what is going to be open before you visit.

Was hit with several charges that were not mentioned.. $40 a day for parking... $55 for resort fee per day. I booked a room in the Beach house before the Hurricane and called 3 separate times to check to make sure all was still good the reservation and was told all three times that there was no impact to the Beach house .. I arrived to find out that was not true and my room was now at the tower and on the 11th floor and only one elevator working . Each trip to the elevator was a min wait of 15 mins... The staff was very nice but the property wants to charge and present itself as a 5 star hotel and is barely a 3 star... My King room was nothing more than average ... My wife and I were very disappointed in our stay... I reserved a Premium King and Got a Regular King Room

Property is great. Most of it is closed down however, due to hurricanes. Rooms are really nice. Staff is amazing. Many up charges. Valet parking only. You cannot park your own car.

Visited shortly after Helene blew through, and repairs were still underway but hotel still operated smoothly. Staff (front desk, valet, restaurant) were uniformly friendly and very accommodating. The room was wonderful, nicely furnished and prepared. Elevator area a bit off, though, with peeling labels, metal plate missing to reveal inside—generally out of keeping with rest of the hotel. The pool was closed due to the storm, no beach service, chairs… even with no more rain. I did get the room upgrade and the resort credit, but they also just gave us a discount on the hotel rate. Nobody pays $380/ a noite to just stay in a room looking to the ocean. The whole “resort” concept wasn’t there. The front door staff was friendly, Ballen had a great service/ food. But the “resort” wasn’t there. As always I loved book with Expedia, making the whole process simple. Thank u Expedia.

We loved the beach and pool area. The restaurant was on the more expensive side. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was valet only and a little pricey. The car was brought to us in a timely manner and they were very polite.
