nice hotel- safe, easy parking, nice beds, rooms. NIce bar area, needs more personnel to serve the customers though not the bartenders fault he was fabulous. it is a very nice property will stay here again.

Other individuals staying at the hotel, and possibly a delivery person, were being extremely loud in the hallway late at night. They did this on and off for the better part of an hour to an hour and a half. Each time we would think about calling, they would stop only to start in again a short time later. We reported it to the front desk, who was sympathetic and offered us a comped breakfast, despite stating that we were not able to stay for that. I also found it a bit ridiculous that a suburban hotel charges $7 a night for parking in their own lot, with ample spaces available.

We stayed two nights on Dec. 24-26. On Christmas Day our room was not cleaned and we did not receive clean towels. After going down to the main desk the clerk said that there was no housekeeping services on Christmas. I paid close to $200 a night for this room. Totally unacceptable. Also, there is a new policy where you have to pay a surcharge for parking. I will not be staying at this property any more. The staff and general manager were horrible.

You're gaining $7, but losing more than that

Lodging a formal complaint here of the new $7 parking charge. There's plenty of space at this location, so this comes off as a blatant money grab. It's not about the $7. The issue is that we show loyalty to you for years, but with ticky-tacky stuff like this, you don't return the favor. It matters. I'm a CX consultant for a living. Been doing this for 20 years with billion-dollar companies. Here's how this maps out: Attribute: New $7 parking fee --> Personal benefit/drawback: Long-time home-away-from-home is taking advantage of me --> Values/Emotions: Lower Trust, Security in relationship with Marriott --> Image/Personality: Quark (Star Trek: DS9) Sample of one. But I'm not the only one. If you want more money, just raise your room rates by $5/night more. People will attribute it to something else (demand, etc.) if they notice it at all. This advice is free. Just like your parking should be. :)
