Book a hotel near Mosaic Canyon, Death Valley

"This is great option to stay within the park. All the activities were withing a half hour drive radius. Rooms were spacious , we were on first floor so had a nice patio to enjoy the evenings. There are 3 restaurants within the property. Staff is very friendly, I was there on Tuesday night (election day) and wanted to watch tele , but the remote did not work, but it was immediately replaced by the staff. Big shout out to the lady who was at the Country Store counter, we asked her about Veggie food options and she went out of the way to help us. I wished I would have noted her name . One suggestion though, it would have been great if they provided a microwave so that we can reheat the food."

"The thing we like the most was how close to Death Valley we were, just about an hour away. The quietness and the evening sky were beyond incredible. We saw lots of shooting stars and the milky way was over us and we could see it with our naked eye. Also the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. The views of mountains in front and behind the house are spectacular. The property was very well stocked. I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to visit Death Valley but you need to be aware that you are in a very remote location. GPS on our phones worked very well. We would stay here again. "
