Check in was easy expect I booked on Expedia and asked for pet friendly and was charged for it. Then when I got to the hotel they said I wasn’t charged for it and charged me again $75 plus another $50. I thought I paid enough as it is for only staying 1 night then got charged another $125. Not happy about that. Almost $300 for a one night stay at a Hampton in Monroe Mi. Ridiculous!

The hotel had a pipe burst and flood the lobby and first floor. The fans were going, non stop, and it was so loud you had to yell to communicate. The breakfast was a bit lacking also, but again, it was so loud, I was happy to go. I’m sure if the pipe issue wasn’t a factor the review would be different, but it happened & this was my experience. The location is very convenient and the staff were friendly.

I had no problem checking in. Paid in advance through Expedia. However my friend, who also did the same, had trouble checking in. Took an hour and 15 minutes to check in. Staff was not trained to handle any issues.
