This is NOT the place you want to stay if you are traveling to Shakopee. Our room was disgustingly dirty and the paper bedspread was full of stains. We were given one see through ratty towel for 2 people. We went down to the free breakfast in the morning to get coffee and it was a good thing we werent hungry or expecting much because all they had were some waffels and POPCORN?!? Nightime desk manager was very nice and polite.

The lobby was great. Room needed some upkeep/repairs. No phone in room. Not enough outlets to charge devices. The laundry room was okay. The waffles from breakfast made both of us sick. The waffle battery may not have been properly mixed. It was a non-smoking room but the fabric of the bedding had cigarette smell embedded in it. Almost as if the laundry for a smoking room was mixed with the laundry from a non-smoking room. Beds were a bit lumpy.

The single king room I had reserved was taken when I got there so I was given a double queen on a different floor. The breakfast was an outmeal pack and banana. And the TV did not work in my room. Will definitely not be staying there again!!

Manager was super rude and he is racist, we was going to book another day my husband went to talk to him. He was going to charger my husband $75 and i went to talk to him and he said $65. This manager is beyond rude. He wouldn't let me ask my question he kept cutting me off.. he doesn't know how to be a manager or even a employer.

Room was what you would expect for a cheap hotel, the room was kinda gross the fridge had old food in it still the bathroom light and fan didn't turn off, but the bed was clean.

The staff USED A KEY TO ENTER THE ROOM 15 MINS BEFORE I WAS TO CHECK OUT! Just let themselves in! They said they knocked, but they did a quick knock WHILE THEY USED A KEY TO COME IN. When I confronted them, they denied it and said the "door was open." It was not, that was completely unacceptable. I will never come here again.

My husband and my two children had planned to stay here following a local wedding. We booked our reservation through Expedia and got to the hotel around 11:30 pm after the wedding. The front desk manager, who wasn't wearing socks or shoes, checked us in and gave us a room key to room 234. We go upstairs to get in our room and it's locked from the inside...they gave us a key to someone else's room. I go back downstairs and tell them this and he now gave us a key for room 236. I go back upstairs to get in our room, and guess what?! He gave us a key to another persons room again. At this point, it's close to midnight, I'm waking guests who are sleeping in their rooms which is A) humiliating and B) disrespectful. I asked if I could just get a refund and I would drive me and my family home. The front desk manager said yes but followed up with he otherwise had rooms ABC or XYZ available. I said I'm not wanting to continue to open every door in the hotel at midnight to figure out which one's empty and I'd rather just get a refund and drive my family and I an hour and a half back home. He said we could get refunded but would have to work through Expedia to do so since we booked through them. Fine, understandable, he said he'd be reaching out to Expedia the following day. After no follow up, I contacted Expedia since the hotel clearly didn't, and Expedia reached out to the hotel for my refund on my behalf. The rep at Expedia said they hotel manager had a strict no refund policy a

Room was very old looking. The chair in the room looked like something out of a dumpster. Looked like mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Yellow dripping stains on the main wall. Nothing felt clean. AC sounded like it might vibrate itself apart each time it kicked on.

Booking was canceled before we arrived. Talked to hotel and secured a new reservation. When we got there, we again didn't have a reservation. They were able to get us a room but charged us more than if i had booked online from their website. The hallways and lobby were very clean but smelled weird. In our room, the bedding was stained and dirty.
