My overall experience at the hotel was good, but there were several areas that could use improvement.
Communication Challenges
Firstly, I encountered difficulties when trying to contact the hotel via telephone. Instead of reaching the hotel directly, I was rerouted to an independent call centre. This made the reservation process less straightforward.
Language Barrier
For non-Spanish speakers, the language barrier was significant. Most staff members were not conversant in English, which made it challenging to get answers to basic questions about the hotel amenities, trolley services, and nearby dining options—information one would typically expect from a concierge.
Housekeeping Issues
One of the most disappointing aspects of my stay was the lack of housekeeping. During our five-day visit, no housekeeping services were provided at all. We ran out of essential items like towels, body wash, and hand soap. I would have expected at least two housekeeping visits during our stay to maintain basic cleanliness and comfort.
Elevator Wait Times
Additionally, there was an unnaturally long wait for the elevators. At times, we even questioned whether they were functioning properly.
Luggage Trolley Availability
Another significant disappointment was the lack of luggage trolleys. While trolleys were available, they were often out of reach, and staff could not provide information on their availability or when they might be returned.
