The wifi didn't function most of the time and it did it was extremely slow, even at 3 in the morning. The property has no A.C. I didn't pay attention as it's a given in hotels of that category The first night, the sheets were reaching my stomach. If i pulled them up, my feet would be exposed. They replaced them the next day. 3 Windows with only 2 with a night curtain. One of them could not be closed. The safe was permanently locked. There's a soap dispenser by the sink in the bathroom and one in the shower, both bone dry. I asked the maids but they didn't have any There's a full kitchen with a broken oven and no utensils whatsoever to eat, to cook or serve I was there from Sunday to Saturday. Coming back with some hot food on Thursday night, I was asked if I didn't mind changing my room. I really didn't want to but I agree to look at the room they were gonna give me and it was a much smaller one with one bed instead of two. They didn't insist but it was the first time that I got this request in a hotel On the other hand, the staff was really nice and professional. Dunker in the dining room served me breakfast every morning perfectly and Fabian at the front desk found a fan for me when the heat was keeping me awake

The location is excellent. Local staff is very helpful. Improvement points: The laundry machine was not in place and there was any dishes, pans or cutlery available. The water heater is shared with other apartment so it turned on when the neighbors took a shower.

I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are clean and have nice views. Very good price for the quality and location. Also in a very safe area that's .5 miles from el poblado. Also a very comfy bed and good bathroom. Great value

Not a 2 bedroom Apartment.
The apartment is advertised as a two bedroom apartment when in fact it is two separate rooms. The suite had no plates, cups or glasses, it had a stove with no pots or pans totally useless kitchen.

NOT a nice place to stay in El Poblado - Medellin
The place looks very different from photos promoting it. There is no air conditioning, no fan, etc. Some lights did not work. The only good thing whats the service provided by the staff: they really take care of us. Otherwise, I found this place overrated and overpriced !!!. Definitely I do not recommend this place to stay in Medellin.

Friendly/helpful staff compliment spacious stay
Cyan is in a quiet residential area which is nice but means that many taxi drivers are not sure exactly where it is. We were flight delayed but check in was smooth and friendly (English speaker as well) and the suite was spacious with two bedrooms and bathrooms. If thinking about using the kitchen facilities, there are no utensils available so you would need to bring your own (not an issue for us). Breakfast can be ordered from a menu and is varied and the waiter was very friendly and helpful, including suggesting how to get to some places we wanted to visit (again English spoken). Wi-Fi worked well. Some Trip Advisor reports suggested that the location is a five minute walk to Parque Lleras (main area for restaurants and bars) but make that 30 minutes at family pace!!! Only real downside (although you can order a taxi for $2-3 easily) for the location if you are looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable stay that allows you to explore Medellin. I don't understand reviewers who come on here and expect 5* hotel conditions when the price of the location tells you that this is completely unrealistic!?

the address was confusing.. the name of the hotel on the reservation was Best Western Cyan Suites. Uber dropped me at Best Western and I had to walk to the real Cyan Suites.

It was a very nice suite, clean and specious! The stag is very friendly and helps with a big smile. Good wifi and good food, delicious. There's no air conditioner but you can ask for a ventilator if it gets to hot. It's not located in a Main Street but it's easy to reach in taxi, nothing is really far in Medellin.
