Welcome to our family-friendly, mountain retreat nestled in the scenic Massanutten, Virginia! This 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom (6 full, 2 half) home is designed to offer a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury, making it an ideal destination for families, friends, and corporate gatherings seeking an unforgettable getaway.
Some of the home's amenities include tons of outdoor living space, a pool pass, Xfinity 1GB (at the router) wifi, a gas firepit (on the main floor deck), washer and dryer, and a 22" Weber charcoal grill.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
This spacious home ensures everyone’s comfort with six well-appointed bedrooms , each featuring its own full bathroom for ultimate privacy and convenience.
Five of the bedrooms are furnished with plush king-sized beds, providing ample space and comfort for restful nights. The sixth bedroom is tailored for younger guests or additional friends and family, equipped with two sets of cozy bunk beds. The home’s 8 bathrooms (6 full per bedroom, 2 half baths) ensure there’s never a wait, even with a full house of guests.
3 Bedrooms (2 king and the bunk room) are on the main floor, and are accessible without any steps from the driveway.
All linens - sheets, pillows and pillow cases, and bath towels are included.
All bedrooms have 65" TV's. When you initially turn the TV's on, it will ask for your departure date. Roku will automatically sign you out of all of your accounts (Netflix, YoutubeTV, Hulu, Disney+ etc etc) on that date!

The adjacent kitchen is a culinary enthusiast’s dream, boasting modern appliances, generous counter space, and all the amenities needed to prepare delicious meals.
This beautiful kitchen w/10 seat dining table, blender, large griddle and coffee maker that takes both Keurig pods and ground coffee.
It flows seamlessly into the dining area, where a large dining table crafted from reclaimed chestnut wood awaits. This table not only provides ample seating, but also serves as a beautiful centerpiece for shared meals and memorable conversations. The great room’s ceiling, made from reclaimed hardwood, adds a unique historical touch and enhances the rustic charm of the space.
In the loft area above the great room, there is a nice area to relax in a papasan chair and read a book or pull up a chair to the corner desk with your laptop.

When it comes to entertainment, this home does not disappoint. The rec room is designed to keep guests of all ages entertained and engaged when you aren't doing all the fun stuff Massanutten offers outside the home. Challenge each other to a game of pop-a-shot, relive the nostalgia of the Pac-Man or the other 11 included arcade games , as well as enjoy a competitive match of foosball. The rec room also boasts a large couch for relaxing with friends and family, as well as Kitchenette that includes a fridge and coffee maker. This space is perfect for indoor fun, ensuring that everyone has something to enjoy, regardless of the weather outside.
Outdoor Spaces
The home features two expansive decks that are perfect for both entertaining and relaxation. These outdoor spaces provide plenty of seating and offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Location and Activities
Located in the Kettle of Massanutten, this home offers easy access to a wide variety of outdoor activities. In the winter, guests can hit the slopes for skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Massanutten Resort. During the warmer months, the area offers numerous hiking trails, golfing opportunities, and mountain biking adventures. The Massanutten Water Park is also nearby, providing fun for all ages with its indoor and outdoor water attractions. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this home’s location offers something for everyone.
You are also a hop, skip and a jump from the world famous Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River and Luray Caverns if you want to enhance your explorer side. Harrisonburg, VA is also right down the road, home to the James Madison Dukes.
Before you get here
Upon booking, you will be provided a very detailed guide for your stay at home. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.
On your arrival
Upon your arrival you will find starter paper products: toilet paper in the bathrooms, paper towels, and trash bags to get you started for your week.
Notes:
1. Upon Reservation, we require that you to upload a government issued identification, such as a driver's license to ensure the minimum age requirement (25) is being met.
2. Check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out is 10 am.
3. If you place your reservation through VRBO/Homeaway, you will see two separate charges - one from Let It Be/Ole Mountain Buck (your first half deposit, or your entire amount if less than 30 days from arrival), and second from VRBO - their booking service fee. This fee is charged directly from VRBO and is not part of any charges collected by us. All communication and second payments will be made directly to us as the owners, not through VRBO/Homeaway.
4. We do not allow smoking anywhere on the property.
5. We allow dogs on a case by case basis. Please reach out to discuss terms. There will be a fee even if you instabook without selecting you are bringing a dog. Those who bring a dog or any other pet without asking and getting permission will be assessed a $1,000 fee.
6. The property uses Ring Security. There is a Ring security camera at the main door. There is a Ring Flood Security camera on the front-right of the house. There are two Ring security cams, one on each deck, at the rear of the home.
7. You will be given a link to our TouchStay digital guidebook that will enhance your experience during your stay. If we missed anything, we would love feedback so we can add it.
8. A unique 4-digit security code will be sent to you at 3pm on the day of your arrival. This number will unlock the main door. The code will expire on the date of your departure.
9. At Massanutten, trash disposal is the responsibility of the guests. Our digital guide will give directions to the nearby disposal areas.
10. Massanutten is a beautiful area. It is a mountain, with trees, and pollen, and bugs and lots of wild animals (including bears). Please keep this in mind and prepare appropriately.
11. The parking area can comfortably fit 6 vehicles. The main part of the parking area has a brief, steep dip at the beginning but the rest is very level to the home, including an accessible incline to the walkway directly to the main entrance. The parking area includes the paved strip along the street as well.
12. We offer a pool pass to our guests. For $6/person/day, you are able to take your entire party to the private owners outdoor pool off of Peak Drive.
