The first room I was placed in, was dirty, the TV didn't work and the ice bucket lid had mold in it. The second room they moved me to had mold on the ceiling, thick dust on the walls next to the bed where my head would lay, the lamps had thick layers of dust. I took pictures and shared them with the front desk and the refunded my money. Yet, as a peron with respitory issues, I had to spend the night in a room with heavy dust and mold.

For the price it was okay.
Room has some stains on the wall. There were random clothes and items from the previous person shoved behind the chair in the room. It wasn't that hard to see. Which makes me question how well it was cleaned previously. Beds were comfortable. Staff was all friendly but we're obviously understaffed. Breakfast for example each day had long waits to replenish food. Coffee was only light roast or decaf. Door to room had to be slammed in order for it to actually shut.

The best part of staying here was the staff, starting with the evening desk clerk, breakfast host, and front desk guy in the morning. However, the hotel is in need of repair, with a bathroom door that would not begin to close, stains on the furniture, sink drains with no working stoppers, TV with very free channels that worked, and dirty carpet. To top it off, we were charged a $5 parking fee just because we reserved the room via a 3rd party (Hotels.com). The breakfast was worse than most hotel breakfasts, and I was shocked at the quality of our stay with this being a Hampton Inn. Again, the hotel staff were MOST friendly and helpful!

Not a standard Hampton but pleasant stay
The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean besides the towels. There was only clean face towels in the bathroom and one towel that was dirty hanging on the back of the door. Front desk quickly replaced my towels no problem. Small selection for breakfast but wasn’t too bad.

There was a noticeable musty smell in the room, almost like moldy. The bathroom was dirty, the floor of the shower was filthy and looked like it had a hole at one point that had been “repaired”, my husband almost fell through it. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. The bed wasn’t totally awful, it was a place to sleep for the night. Breakfast was the highlight: biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, muffins, etc. I’d give it 2 stars for the breakfast

Great staff and breakfast. The beds are very comfortable, but the fitted sheet kept coming off and pillows could be better I get tired of being the quality control person. The first room assigned had no microwave, refrigerator or hair dryer. It also had a hole in the shower floor, a single bolt securing the toilet seat, an ash tray with ashes under the chair which was pushed up against the wall and the nightstand drawer had an open box of pop tarts and wrappers. The second room assigned was closer to the quality expected, but the toilet was slow to flush and the closet door handle was not attached securely. The common area carpets were stained, in need of replacing or steam cleaning. The automatic entry doors were defective, opening and closing without a person there to activate them. With all the issues noted, we would stay there again if we were originally offered the second room. Hotels should have a maintenance inspection with a thorough checklist with every room turnover.

Unacceptable. Does not meet Hampton Inn standards.
I've stayed at numerous Hampton Inn locations. This location was unlike any other location. From the moment we walked through the front door...issues!! The smell and the appearance clearly displayed lack of maintenance. Then the rooms. TINY with the smell of smoke. Our shoes stuck to the bathroom floor. We tested the shower only to find the water didnt drain! We called the front desk for immediate refund and departed. This location should be closed.

Smoke alarm was hanging off the ceiling and chirping the minute we walked in. Called the front desk and they did nothing to help and wouldn’t allow us to change rooms. Toilet ran all night and whoever painted the walls must have done so in the dark. Also our room door looked like it had been pried open at some point. They did offer a 15% discount for a “noise complaint”. Room was mostly clean. Then a homeless man came in and helped himself to the free breakfast the next morning. We were glad to get out of there.

Could’ve been worse, but could’ve been way better
Check in was fine. The front desk attendant did find out that my room was not clean before I got there (went the extra step and went to check) so I got a new one. Thank you! The hallway had trash in it, my door wouldn’t close on its own, the latch was unscrewed from the inside, trash/clutter in between furniture, the carpet in the room was damp (???), and the shower curtain rod in the bathroom was incorrectly installed so the tile was broken. The bed was comfy and didn’t have the stains or bed bugs other people encountered so I can’t do 1/5 stars. This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel and a better housekeeping staff. I cannot believe it has such a positive rating on here.

Plastic cups and paper cups in rooms and at breakfast were not individually wrapped. Who knows how many people handled the cups in the rooms. In this day of wide spread diseases, they could spend a few pennies on plastic wrapped cups. I travel a lot and every hotel I've been to has wrapped cups and most have wrapped plastic ware. GYM was not accessible via my room key. Room & bed was comfortable. Check in was friendly even though they have only had one computer running since the IT crash 3 weeks ago, I guess management is trying to save money on IT as well as plastic ware.
