Where do I begin, I reached out to the host of this property almost 2 weeks ahead of checking in to request the pool heater to be turned on for our stay since we rented this property in the middle of March and one of the main reasons we chose this property was because of the heated pool. Kevin from Vacasa responded with the daily rate and asked me to confirm to proceed with the daily charge to add the heated pool for our stay. I confirmed that same day to proceed but Kevin failed to notify the appropriate resource to turn on the heater ahead of my stay and the pool was still frozen cold the day I checked in. I had to wait a full 24 hours going back in forth with various reps from Vacasa with all of them giving the same cookie cutter response “we apologize for the inconvenience. Our team will look into this and get back to you shortly”. They finally responded with the lock code to be able to turn the heater on myself. Such an easy solution but took over 24 hours to get. You’d think you’d be assigned one property manager who will be your main point of contact for your stay but instead I spoke with about 10 different reps who have the worst communication within their own organization I’ve ever seen. That was evident in my first communication with Kevin. Talk about a lack of personalized service speaking to a different rep each time I write them.
