We loved staying there for a concert event at excel energy center. Room was awesome and breakfast was great. Literally the only downside was the fruit flies at breakfast which I’m sure they will handle.

I really enjoyed the architecture of the hotel and the beautiful buildings that surrounded it. My most favorable memory stems from the gorgeous flower gardens around the hotel and in the park squares on my morning walk I could reach the state capital of Minnesota and Saint Paul’s Cathedral, both of which Are beautiful. Our room was modern and comfortable.

Our doorman seemed to be having a bad day or he just didn’t care for me either is acceptable but it did detract from the stay. The bed was a bit hard for my liking but otherwise it was a great hotel. I would defiantly recommend staying here and would return myself. I was dressed down for such an upscale place and I did feel looked down on because of it, but it was a time for us to relax so…

The staff were outstanding from the moment we entered the hotel. We were offered an excellent corner room upgrade at a reasonable price. The room had everything we would want or need and the view was excellent. The room was comfortable and spacious considering the older hotel typical room sizes. All extras were available (at additional costs, of course) making the hotel more impressive. The Sat. Paul Grill located in the hotel was befitting and deserving of its’ top dining ratings.
