Terrific city centre location close to train/bus transport hub but on the inner city island. Superb service and excellent breakfast choice, spacious bar lounge for dining and drinks. A delight.

Better training of staff would help
ICE packs for medicine need to be placed in the freezer not the refrigerator. The front desk person was asked to place two ice packs into the hotel freezer so they would be ready for our journey back home. They were not frozen in the morning and expensive medicine had to be disposed of. Train your front staff better please. Do as the customer asks.

Staff in the Bar were friendly and personalised especially Jack. Room is small with no basic item like toiletries or hot water kettle. Conveniently located in town area. Will stay again given chance to visit there again.

Housekeeping on check-out date?
Very central location. Room is clean but small, if you are two people traveling with large luggage. Although the check-out time is 12:00, housekeeping came twice in the morning (09:30 & 10:30) to clean the room on the check-out day. It felt like the staff was rushing the guests to get out.

TINY ROOMS
Smallest rooms ever. 14 square meters if even that. The location is great, Right in the middle of Lubeck. The lobby looks nice, everything is clean, so that was fine. But the rooms are TINY. you can barely turn around in them and opening up a suitcase is a challenge. Breakfast is good but you have to eat it in the lobby on chairs and tables, not designed to be used for eating anything. The rooms have AC but ours did not seem to function as it should have so we decided to sleep with an open window. Big mistake because you will hear church bells ringing in your ear all night long which is quite annoying after the first set of bells. haha. No parking on property. You have to walk 5-8 minutes, depending on which parking garage you choose. The closest is 17 Euros a night which is quite steep but not their fault. Yes, good hotel but tiny rooms.

Cozy and stylish lounge with outdoor seating, staff very friendly. Rooms have a good isolation. Breakfast buffet has several organic selections. Free Wifi is available throughout the hotel. Hotel is just next to the main square in the city center and just a few walking minutes from the Holstentor.

Brand new hotel in perfect location
Right in the centre of lubeck old town this hotel is within walking distance of everywhere you'd need to be. The rooms are beautifully decorated and bathroom large and clean with a shower that would fit two people! Large tv and plenty space for hanging clothes. The staff are great and their English is very good too. Will definitely be staying again

Motel One is een hotel midden in het stadscentrum, hierdoor is vrijwel alles op loopafstand. Wij reisden met de auto en vonden al snel een parkeergarage dichtbij. Wat jammer was is dat de garage op zondag gesloten was. Gelukkig vertrokken wij pas op maandag. Dit is wel een punt om alert op te zijn en wellicht iets waar het personeel van het hotel aandacht aan kan besteden bij het inchecken. Het inchecken verliep verder erg vlot en vriendelijk. Wij verbleven in de kleinere kamer, op de vierde verdieping aan de achterzijde met uitzicht op de kerk. Een rustige en nette kamer, voorzien van alles wat nodig was voor ons verblijf. Pluspunten: zeer goede douche, rustig, vriendelijk personeel, schone kamer en goed ontbijt. Punt van aandacht: parkeergelegenheden, wel voldoende keus, maar zie opmerking hierboven. Tip: laat je informeren over de mogelijkheden om uit eten te gaan. Wij hebben dat niet gedaan en hebben op zondag een tijd lopen zoeken naar een leuk restaurant. Overigens is Vai een aanrader.

Rummen var små. Satt man i foajén så kunde man inte sätta bar notan på rummet. Allt ska betalas i förskott. Annars var det bra.

Arrived at 2 am in the morning and check-in was quick. Loved that we didn’t have to be out until noon the next day. Also loved how quiet the hotel was despite being in the middle of tourist season. Slept great and the room temperature was perfect.
