An Underwhelming Stay
I picked the cheapest property when I was looking at staying in Little Rock and I definitely got what I paid for.
The positives: the neighborhood seems great. We were really close to the zoo. There is also a fenced in backyard so all I had to do was let my dogs out without worrying about having to walk them through the neighborhood. Our TV remote ran out of batteries and the landlord replaced them.
Now to the negatives. This house is definitely an old property. Most of the outlets are only 2 prong so my laptop charger wouldn't fit. None of the doors close besides the bathroom door, and that one doesn't even lock. They do have hooks on the bedroom doors so you can prevent them from just falling open but it is still an issue. One of the doors could be secured from inside the room and the other could only be secured from the outside (which makes no sense at all). There is a huge crack across the glass backdoor that leads to the fenced in area which is a little unsettling with little kids. Also, when you go out of the back door there is a balcony where you can take stairs to get to ground level. There is a window on the balcony to the back 1/2 of the house (it is a duplex) where you can easily see inside. It made me uncomfortable that I could see other people inside the living room of the other side of the house. The floor was so uneven that they had to put wood under the dining room table to prevent it from rocking.
Overall, I definitely wouldn't stay here again.
