The property is being upgraded and will look great once done. We couldn’t figure out how to use the TV. Too complicated.

Soooo the newly remodeled rooms are really nice and luxurious with the shinest marble floors in the bathroom area. New carpets, great tv etc. wonderful rooms at a great price, convenient to little falls. However there is currently major remodeling going on in the bottom floor, not noisy, but messy. You just need to know you’ll be stepping over drop cloths on way to your room.

No hair dryer. No phone in the room. There was a hole in bathroom ceiling w/o a fan in it, there was wood rot around bathroom door. They were redoing all of the rooms and room itself was ok (but carpeted which I feel is terrible in a hotel anymore) but rest of area was hideous. VERY noisy air conditioner (sounded like a jet plane) AND there was a noisy highway AND train outside our window! Sleep was near impossible. Folks are front desk were marginal.

We arrived after 7 pm and they had put us as no shows, gave someone else our room, and still wanted to charge us. Reservations were made 7 months in advance because we were going to the baseball HOF induction, so there were no rooms anywhere nearby. We spent over 2 hours trying to find another place and had to drive an hour to a stinky motel. I WAS LIVID.

Old hotel needs updating in a depressed small town next to active railroad line (at least 4 trains through the night). Many things did not work like ice machine; elevator at wrong end of the building; no breakfast; attached lounge was closed.

Great location, definitely recommend
Check in was quick and pleasant. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Renovations were still ongoing. Construction was quiet. WiFi was fast and stable. No weird odors. Pharmacy, pizza place, diner, delicatessen, movie theater, grocery store petrol station all walking distance less than three blocks of walking. Allot of parking. Hospital is just down the road, just in case.

Many years of using this hotel for travel/busines
The check in staff was friendly and helpful. Liked the fact it was close to major highways and convenient to enter and exit the property. The water in the bathroom sink was slow coming out. Makes it hard to clean up. The train line in the back makes it hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper. There is also a little movie theater attached to the hotel. The shared parking lot can get crazy at times. The mattress was half way descent. The pillows were flat. Sheets felt dusty and weird. I walk with my own bed spread. The room had weird smells. Probably from the construction of upgrading the other rooms. The fridge was clean and worked. WiFi was unstable and iffy. Probably dues to the construction. The microwave took longer to warm things up than I’m used to. Diner, pizza spot, bar, pharmacy, grocery shop, deli, gas station all walking distance less than two blocks away. The room I was in had one pair of plugs and they weren’t that secure. Might want to walk with a power strip if you need more outlets. You can control the temp of the room from the HVAC unit. Many new upgrades seemed to be underway with the new management.
