"We were able to spend important time away for writing and planning while also exploring central PA. We were not so far away from Pittsburgh that we couldn't meet up with our daughter for an afternoon, but far enough away to enjoy the scenic creekside drives and beautiful mountain vistas of the surrounding area. We even made a day trip of visiting State College & cute little downtown Bellefonte. We will definitely come back this way in warmer weather to spend time walking around downtown in the shops & restaurants of Ligonier itself! Our hosts were responsive and very hospitable. We had everything we needed for an extended stay (10 days). We were truly blessed by them and our time at their cabin. "
