Hot Tub Cool Views: Roaring Creek Cabin

A Dog- and Family-Friendly Getaway! With a Hot Tub!

Sometimes you just need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some splendid natural beauty. The Roaring Creek Cabin offers an incredible North Central Cascades getaway perfect for groups and families (with dogs), in need of some rest and relaxation. Surrounded by woodlands, it's just a quick drive to pristine slopes in the winter, and with perks like your very own private hot tub, this is one vacation rental you won't want to miss.

Note - do you have more than 6 in your party? Please contact us for options for housing extra guests.

Uniquely Situated in the Woods. A Private Setting!

Nestled deep in the woods, you'll love driving to and from your new home-away-from-home (it's a scenic two-hour drive from Seattle). The quaint Bavarian town of Leavenworth is just 19 miles south for all your dining needs, with skiing a quick 18-mile drive westward at beautiful Stevens Pass. More attractions await at Lake Wenatchee State Park eight miles to the north, but if you're just looking for a nature hike, all you need to do is step out of your door! This setting is wonderfully seasonal--with 6+ feet of snow in the winter and 90 degree temps in the summer, and almost daily rainbows in the spring and fall.

A Fully-Equipped Kitchen - Just Like Home

The Roaring Creek Cabin is a spacious, homey getaway with an incredible selection of comforts. This multi-level home's large rooms and vaulted ceilings give groups of up to eight enough space to relax after a long day of exploring the great outdoors. The rustic atmosphere is accentuated by lots of natural light and amazing views via the wide windows, the home's incredible wood and stonework, as well as a large variety of charming objects decorating the walls.

Cool Views: Inside and Out

Take in the stunning view and some bracing mountain air on your very own private deck, then step back inside to the cozy living room. The large, plush sectional sofa is perfect for getting family and friends together for some relaxation, made even better by the stone-facade wood stove that keeps everyone nice and toasty in the cold winter months. This cabin offers a great opportunity to unplug; put those stressful work emails aside (although wifi is available), put some music on the speakers, and just sit back and take in the view of the woods and mountains from the many windows.

Eat and Relax: It's Vacation!

The dining area is near the living room, with a charming table for four and seats for four more at the breakfast bar nearby. For those hoping to take in amazing mountainside views with their meal, good news! The deck offers another table for four and an incredible view to accompany your meal.

We Love the PNW

The main attraction of this home is all around you: the gorgeous nature of the Pacific Northwest! Visitors in the spring, summer, and fall can simply step out of the door and enjoy a walk through the surrounding woodlands, or head to nearby Lake Wenatchee State Park for hiking, fishing, swimming, golfing, and more. Wintertime visitors, meanwhile, can take a quick drive to Stevens Pass, and tear up the slopes with skis and snowboards. After excursions, you can come back home and take a nice, long soak in your private hot tub, complete with an incredible view on the deck.

Leavenworth has Something for Everyone!

If you ever need a break from exploring the great outdoors, the low-key, quaint town of Leavenworth is just 19 miles south. Styled like a Bavarian village, Leavenworth boasts charming architecture, several restaurants and shops, and gorgeous views of the mountains. You can explore the town's shops and cafes at any time of the year - as well as visit nearby attractions like the Upper Valley Museum and Icicle Junction mini-golf and arcade just a mile from town. October visitors can take in the excitement and energy of a traditional Oktoberfest festival, complete with all the brews and brats you could ever want.

A Quiet Retreat at Roaring Creek Cabin
My husband and I, plus our two goldendoodles, found Roaring Creek Cabin a delightful summertime retreat. When not hiking the Forest Service trails just outside the door, or wading with the dogs along the beautiful Wenatchee River and Lake nearby, we were very content to read and draw/paint on the deck and take in the breath-taking views of the North Cascades. Almost every morning I saw or heard a goshawk in the trees, and the night sky was filled with bright constellations and meteors. The modern kitchen was supplied with all the essentials, the hand-crafted dining table and chairs were lovely, and the sofa was cozy for conversations when our friend joined us. Although we didn't use the TV, it was nice to know it was an option for entertainment. (Weirdly, it did turn itself on in the middle of our first night, which was a bit freaky!) Beds were extremely comfy. It was fun to have Pondo, the owner's dog, visit and join our "pack" for a friendly romp on the deck. The only thing missing was the sound of a roaring creek!

What an amazing place with gorgeous views
I was first hesitant with it just being myself and 2 children, but WOW, this place is a must! It was absolutely perfect, with the seclusion and peace that we needed. The hot tub was an amazing bonus during the nights, and the beds were perfectly comfortable. We even got a visit from Pondo the huskey, who was so sweet and made our last night even more perfect. We will definitely be coming back, this place is the oasis away from our busy lives.

Perfect little getaway!
My husband and I took our pup for a short, midweek stay and wish we had booked a longer trip! The cabin is lovely - updated with great features including a Sonos sound system that we really enjoyed. The hot tub was a nice treat to start and end the days with! And there's some really nice, easy walking with gorgeous fall colors just outside the doorstep. Would be perfect for a family getaway with kids and pets!

Getaway Good Times
Our small friend group had a good time at the property, definitely loved the location & view. The resident ranger pup Pondo was always a welcome treat when he would visit & was a great bonus to the atmosphere. While we did unfortunately have a couple set backs out of the control of our hosts they were very accommodating & communicative throughout our stay. If staying in summer, definitely recommend some outdoor bug defense as the mosquito presence was strong, but tis the way of the woods. Overall we would recommend booking with the Stay Cascadia team.

Came for the skiing, will return for the hot tub
Amazing place, so private and quiet (except for the coyotes we heard one night which we loved!). The proximity to Stevens Pass is awesome, a short and easy drive, but we truly enjoyed just hanging out at the cabin and enjoying the amazing hot tub. The cleanest hot tub we’ve ever experienced , and the best view! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Great winter stay in a nice little house in the mountains
Great vacation home in between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass. We played in the snow, went sledding (in the driveway and at the Wenatchee), XC skied at the nordic center, and spent a bunch of family time playing games in front of the fireplace. Due to the weather, we were only able to stay for two nights but would definitely stay again later.

Just Perfect for our small family.
Location,. location, location!!! Loved the openness of the cabin. Beds were comfortable. Could use a a few more dinner plates and silverware knives and maybe a platter. Just a small complaint, the top of the refrigerator of really dirty ( my daughter cleaned it) and the vents in the bottom of the microwave need to be changed or cleaned and the dining room ceiling lights should also be cleaned. Still we loved staying at the cabin. Thank you. We all had a wonderful Christmas Vacation and would highly recommend!

Beautiful Relaxing Stay in the Mountains Near Leavenworth
A beautiful home. We went when it was snowing and it was beautiful to enjoy the hot tub while you are surrounded by snow. We wrapped up our stay by checking out and then driving to Leavenworth. Took approximately 2 hours from Seattle, so will definitely want to check this out again ASAP.

overall a fun stay
The check in process was a bit disappointing as we were never given a door code as stated in the email but once I reached out via email and phone I was able to get it. My family pulled up to such a beautiful house. The area was super quiet, exactly what we wanted. The down side is that the house had some finishes that were not complete. ie, the molding around the house was not placed, walls that we being painted was not completed, the smoke detectors were not connected and the wires were exposed. Those weren't really a deal breaker but the fact that we were renting at a premium rate, you'd think that at least the paint would be fished...

Great Family Vacation
We had originally booked a cruse to Alaska but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. The cabin was a great location for the five of us to spend time together outside the city. There was plenty of space, a well appointed kitchen and easy to light gas grill on the deck. The only cooking item that we couldn't find was a small or medium size sauce pan. There were steel wine tumblers and beer glasses but if you are a wine connoisseur you might want to bring your own wine glasses. The first night we were bothered by yellow jackets but we purchased a couple of traps in Leavenworth the next day and didn't have any problems the rest of the week. There are lots of day hikes available in the area and Lake Wenatchee State park is a short drive away. The cabin has central air conditioning which was welcomed after returning from our adventures. The cabin was a perfect setting for cooking meals together and playing board games. Sitting in the hot tub and star gazing was an added bonus. Overall we would recommend this property for a great summertime getaway.
