Would not stay here again. Room had a smell to it went to Safeway to buy a febreeze. My biggest complaint are the mattress, old spring mattress that are dented in the middle did not sleep entire night. Atleast upgrade the mattress, everything inside this place is original from the 1945. The only good thing about this place is the beach access.

The area around the property was very nice, a private beach, volleyball, pool, hot tub sauna, very close to Safeway and restaurants however the room had sooo much dust. THE SOFA and In between the closet had cobwebs that made me wonder if they even changed our bedsheets.. I requested new everything for my peace of mind. The backup sheets had a few insects inside. The room had a particular smell that I had to buy febreeze to make it better. I would rate it a 5 but the cleaning needs to IMPROVE A LOT AND NOT JUST DO a superficial clean. THE ROOM I STAYED AT NEEDS A DEEP DEEP CLEAN. Also the carpets were black! I couldn't stop sneezing whenever I was in the room.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, spacey and had everything we could possibly need. The location of the beach was amazing, just a few feet away and it was such a pleasant surprise. We paddle boarded and renting equipment was super easy. The playground and grassy area was awesome, and added so much to our stay. I will definitely be planning another stay here!!

The location is great, right near the lake with beach access. Grand central yard for sports activities. Some water toys that we never got to use because of weather condition in the afternoons.(windy and stormy) The unit is confortable with small kitchen, the bed just full size, we were snug but confortable. The restroom shower is poorly design and does fit a tall person.

We had an amazing stay here! Its summer in Tahoe you all, so finding a good hotel for a reasonable price is a rarity! The customer service was amazing from check in to check out! Josie the manager was so professional, effective and friendly! Same for the rest of the staff! The location is SUPREME!!Right on a clean beautiful beach of the lake. They have enjoyable planned activities for all ages including a complimentary Wine social on Saturday! I stayed in 2 different rooms, checked out but then decided to book another night! My first 2 rooms were studios with a little kitchenette, fridge, stove top, microwave etc. The rooms on the lakeside have a bit more wear and tear and could benefit from a little upgrade but the location bus go great, it makes up for it! Feet from the beach and lake! The studio across the street was so nice! Send recently updated! It’s small but could still sleep 4 I think. I was really impressed about the use of the space! Cozy and comfortable! I will definitely stay here again!
Enjoying the access to the private beach! No crowds!

This was our first time here and had an absolute amazing experience, from a private beach, pool and hot tub and sauna. Clean outside grills for us to use. Our cabin was a perfect size for us four. Working stove decent size fridge. It was near a national park and well as a mini golf. I definitely recommend and expect to come back.

Extremely disappointed that we were assigned a room across the busy Highway. Nowhere in the reservation process did it indicate that the room may not be facing the lake. The only reason we booked this place was for the lake view outside our door. (False advertising! Don't let the pictures fool you.) The small, dark studio was the worst place we've ever stayed. It felt unclean (we never took off our sandals) and it was awkward having neighbors so close. Because there is no air conditioning, we had to leave our door open and so did our neighbors with whom we shared a small porch (think townhouse but two small rooms next to each other). The sagging mattress on the Murphy bed also made for a horrible night's sleep. We probably will never stay here again because of the poor accommodations, but we did enjoy the private beach which was a breath of fresh air after the zoo-like experience at Kings Beach. We also rented kayaks on the property which we really enjoyed and appreciated the convenience. The resort also had a snack and wine event which was nice. These amenities boosted the rating, otherwise we would have rated our experience with a one star.

Family friendly, had everything we wanted- lake access, pool and hot tub. Clean towels and lots of seating at lake and around facility, hot water and nice toiletries. Kids had a blast and I felt safe with them there on my own. Some people were loud and rude but easy to ignore with the beauty around. I didn’t like having our suite across the street but was prepared for it after reading previous reviews. Was nice inside, liked having a kitchenette so we could prepare food easily. Clean and organized. Will be back.

Built in 1945.
Built in 1945. In the winter its ski resort town. In the summer it's Lake Tahoe & its private beach. The resort supplies you with barbecue kayaks, beach chairs. I feel very safe walking to the private beach. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Just a reminder. This resort was built in 1945. Any repair projects are not simple ,, easy or Inexpensive. $$$$$ . Go there with the proper mindset, & You will return over and over..

Room was dirty and small. Murphy’s double bed when pulled out, the Queen sofa bed cannot pull out, as there is no space.. So, sofa bed was not useable. The rug was filthy and probably had never been cleaned…maybe, it was vacuumed was time to time. And, in Kiky the room was hot and stuffy. The box fan proceeds did help.

This place was a good value overall, but not somewhere we would stay again. Since we booked this place largely because it was right on the lake, we were immediately disappointed to discover that while the property has beach access, our unit was located across the street from the highway, so it wasn't as close or convenient to access the beach, pool and spa. If that is important to you, I would call and see what units are on the beach side before you book. We stayed in a one bedroom with a kitchen. It was pretty clean upon check in, though the rug, couch, and fabric on the dining chairs had stains/ built up dirt. There was no A/C and we were advised not to keep the windows open at night because of bears in the area, so we did our best to cool the place down between dinner and bed time. The bed was pretty firm and not very comfortable for my husband or I, especially with sore muscles from hiking, etc. They do have kayaks and paddle boards, but there is a fee (per hour) to rent them, so we rented some at a nicer beach on the lake. The worst part of all for me was the shower. I would set it to a warm temperature and it would turn suddenly scalding hot without warning. I would turn the cold water up to correct the temperature, which would lead to the shower eventually turning suddenly cold. We are pretty chill guests and staying here wasn't a huge downer since we were gone a lot, but those are a few things that I would have wanted to know before booking.
