Staff was very helpful, room was modern and very spacious with a balcony, price was great, location was great, hotel was quiet, great croissants at breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to everyone, would stay there again.

We were immediately turned off by the smell in the bathroom. Looking closely, there are areas of red bacteria growing on the walls and the soap/shampoo dispensers. The shower curtain did not stay closed especially by the shower head so water got everywhere, which likely adds to the bad smell once bacteria/mold grows. Bathroom was also very small. FYI, if you arrive after 10 pm, there is no checkin person so call ahead for instructions. Breakfast area was nice with a patio outdoors. Pastries, yogurt, 3 cereals, coffee and a couple other things. No eggs or fruit so be prepared. Indoor pool was NOT heated at all. Maybe because of summer. It is in a separate building across the parking lot. The sauna and hot tub were not working. It seemed a bit understaffed. Often found no one at the front desk. They were cleaning up the breakfast area or doing things outside.

I checked in on the way to my Franciscan retreat for a day of quiet solitude. Jacob’s care when i reached early, by providing me a quiet corner to write my second novel… with coffee and home made Viennosiere - croissants made my day. Samantha and the friendly front office staff are helpful. No in room coffee maker and not close for early morning coffee… Other than that i look forward to another quiet weekend of novel writing. My husband and I had our anniversary trip here. The surroundings were beautiful. We found the room pretty clean - though tub had mold. The shower could’ve used a wider curtain. It was a quiet room, and we enjoyed the balcony. We are early birds and prefer coffee and breakfast sooner than 7:30, so we asked for coffee maker for our room. Didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked nice.
