Wonderful Aloha!

This was a great condo for two friends, plenty of room and everything you need for cooking, playing at the beach or sitting on the deck with a drink, watching the sunset. The beach is just steps away, and itself a long beach. We fully enjoyed our week at Sugar beach!!

Beautiful condo in a beautiful area

We were happy with our stay here. We utilized the beach, pool, grills, hot tub, and in unit laundry. It was a nice location for our different activities, and particularly close to our boat launch for Molokini Crater snorkeling. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great Condo- beach water not clear

The condo and the property are A+. Very pretty, clean, comfortable, well maintained and great views. They also have a bar/restaurant on site which was nice. Great walking beach. The water, however, is dark and not clear like a lot of other Maui beaches. A bit windy here too. You can’t have it all. Nice place!

Relaxing Time in Maui

The accommodations were exactly as described. Recently updated and very clean. The grounds and pool area are well maintained. Enjoyed grilling dinner by the ocean while watching the sunset.

Pretty good

Condo unit is very good! Water at beach is brown out to 100 yards. You can’t walk anywhere, no sidewalks, beach was unwalkable for my 2 weeks. I will say the price point probably reflects this.

Overall a nice stay. We had some issues upon check-in with the cleanliness of the condo. After contacting Vacasa who put us in touch with a local property manager we were able to get this resolved to our satisfaction. We loved the location and property as it’s right on the beach and had great amenities. We felt the condo was not well stocked with basic amenities we’ve had in the past. It seemed that whoever sticks and ensures the cleanliness of the condo fell short this time.

Great Condo for relaxing stay

This place was perfect for exactly what we wanted. The Bed is very comfortable and King size. The Kitchen is all new appliances, the A/C worked well, the patio has huge doors for getting some fresh air and views of the ocean. The pool and hot tube area was easily accessible and a good relaxing place. The location is center island, its a pretty good spot for day adventures around the island.

Very Pleased

Overall pleased with our stay. The condo itself is exactly as pictured. Very nice and clean. Pretty much anything you need is available. Nice touch with welcome gift. Great little sandwich shop on premises with super nice staff. The outside of the building does need some updating, but don’t let that deter you in any way. Only complaint would be checking in at the front office for parking permit… We love to explore, so the first couple days we were up and off the property before the office opened & returned after they were closed or when we did get a chance to go during the day the office was closed for Lunch. We never had an issue with parking, so it wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely stay here again!!

Everything was good except…

I was not notified in advance about the pool was closed for maintenance until I booked a non-refundable stay. What more, until 24 hours before I flew to Hawaii, that’s when I got a nice email “sorry, pool is closed” It could have been a better experience if I knew my choices in advance.

First Time in Maui

Beautiful view and nicely updated condo

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here during our visit to Maui. The condo is nicely updated and was cleaned really well when we checked in. The balcony has a beautiful view overlooking the water and the pool. We spent each night enjoying the view and having a drink on our balcony. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you might need. There were beach chairs and a cooler in the closet which was a nice addition. Although we quickly noticed that both beach chairs had either a ripped handle or broken straps so they didn't stay closed and were impossible to carry to the beach. The AC worked really well and kept the condo cool, especially when we closed the curtains when we weren't in the living room. The pool and hot tub area were nice and never too busy. We were always able to find an open lounge chair. The ground are well maintained and the community was not loud at all. There was always parking available and we never had to circle around to find a spot. The only thing that was annoying was how early the check out was at 10 am, coupled with the fact that the cleaning crew showed up and rang the doorbell about 5 min before check out time which brought us a lot of anxiety and panic as we were already trying to gather garbage and finish up the last of the check out procedures. Overall, I thought this was a really nice place and would stay here again next time I am in Maui.

An Amazing 10 Days!

My now fiancé and I stayed here for 10 days and it was amazing! The pictures of the unit do not do it justice, the views from the lanai are spectacular. We woke up to whales every morning and watched the sunset every night. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals if needed, the a/c works great, having a washer and dryer in the unit was nice. The resort, overall, was nice, quiet, lawns well kept and there was always loungers available at the pool. We will defiantly be staying here again. Loved Sugar Beach!!

Amazing

Perfect location for us. Beautiful view, steps from the beach. The unit had everything we could possibly need. I could not have been happier with our choice. If we ever come back we will most definitely try and get this unit again. The only down fall was that the dryer was broke. We were offered laundry service if we needed it so that was a good alternative. Only being here a week, it was not really a problem for us.

Wedding Trip

Came to Maui for our niece’s wedding. The condo was perfectly located for all of the wedding activities. We enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the beach. This is our second trip to Maui in four months and we are already thinking about our next visit!
