Business stay - quiet location
The location is far away from town or even nearby places to walk. It otherwise provides a tranquil and relatively quiet place to sit back and relax, except for the occasional train that runs by from time to time. The infinity pool looks great. When I jumped into the pool I saw a dead pigeon floating and got out to notify the staff. I was not sure how long the bird was dead. The pool serves as pigeon drinking fountain. As I sat by the pool, pigeons constantly swooped down to drink the water. That may explain why the pool is hardly used. About the room, it is clean and comfortable. The bathroom light was dim with no light over the vanity to really see yourself clearly. The vanity was half clogged. There was no lotion or clothe iron in the room.

Diesel Trains !
We stayed in Block B which was disappointingly close to a railway line (approx 250m). Diesel trains started at about 6 a.m. and ended at about 10.30 p.m. passing roughly every 45 minutes. No mention of it in the advert. Not good ! Room was a good size and well decorated.

We have been staying here many times but this time we had a problem with the breakfast. Manu of the foods are running out and they won't refill even though we are there before they close. We endend up sitting at the restaurant with no food and without any answer.

The hotel was okay. WiFi wasn't all that great. Location wasn't good, it was way too far from things to do (unless you are driving, which I wouldn't advise doing in Thailand). The breakfast was good.

Short stay to split journey from Bangkok to north
For my purposes very OK stop off near main highway and short distance from restaurants by Ayyuthaya river itself as Cavali restaurant was closed --no problem . Used hotel to split journey from Bangkok to north day before Songkraan holiday . Would do same again .

Absolutely Horrible Location
The hotel grounds and room are beautiful, you can tell the complex is very new (also by the construction outside still going on). Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot to do socially in Ayutthaya and the little bit there is happens mostly in one area that this hotel is very far from. You will have to pay to see all of the temples to begin with, so having to pay at least 100 baht each way (and that's only to the train station) made me not want to leave and explore. If you have the money and time to spend on extra transportation, go for it. The staff seemed relatively new and their English is not great. Many conversations I had were through an iPhone translator, and I know some Thai (apparently not enough). As has been said in other reviews, on top of the location being bad, the showers do also back up given the location of the drain, so you will be standing in water while you shower.

Cavalli & TukTuk
We just (June 10, 2013) spent one night at the Cavalli Casa Resort. In itself, it’s a fine hotel, modern with large and clean rooms. Breakfast was not very appetizing, this was a Monday morning and we were probably served leftovers from the weekend. And it’s definitely not a resort. The main problem was the location: the map on the website was totally wrong, and the quite aggressive Tuk Tuk drivers around the train station don’t know that hotel. The first one we talked to wanted to take us “there” for 200 Baht. We offered 100 Baht, and he accepted, but he didn’t even know where “there” was. He took us to two different hotels nearby (not a 100-Baht trip), pretended he was calling the hotel when we gave him the number, and finally took us to the Kantary hotel, quite a way out. At that point we just put 20 Baht on the seat, and got off. The second driver took us back near the train station, and asked colleagues of his where the hotel was, then said he didn’t know how to get there, but still wanted the agreed upon 50 Baht that we adamantly refused to give. Some of his colleagues seemed to know and they offered to take us there for 150 Baht, saying it was “very far”. As a matter of fact, the hotel – with an Italian name that no local driver knows – is about 4 kilometers straight north of the train station. In all, we lost about 2 hours and 20 + 100 Baht.

A hotel on the rise
A very new hotel in great condition. A little tricky to find but it was a good place to stay. Not quite a "resort" yet. The area in a few years will be very busy.

Bad hotel bad location
It took an hour to find, called repeatedly and no one answered. Was told they opened only a month ago. Had to hire a TUk TUk to show us how to get there(we have a car) and it took him 30 minutes to find. Hotel staff was rude and didn't care if we were there or not. Parking lot was a gravel pit. Walked past lobby for breakfast and staff worker was urinating on lawn facing lobby and my wife and I. Breakfast buffet was cold, no burners under trays. Eggs were literally freezing cold, couldn't eat. Staff was inconvienanced when I asked for butter and never returned with the butter or an answer if they even had it. Never never stay here. Location was so far off radar it's ridiculous.

Misleading map location
This hotel is a $4 tuk tuk ride from the bus station and the temples in the central part of town, looking at the map on hotels.com and on Google misrepresent it to be within a few hundred meters of both. The shower drain took 15 minutes to drain so you will be standing in water after the first couple of minutes of your shower. The rooms were clean, wifi worked well and the breakfast was satisfactory.
