The inside is a lot better than what the outside l
The interior of the hotel is actually quite nice. Modern, pleasant and comfortable. Unfortunately, the outside looks terrible. The gravelly dirt grounds are weedy. The building needs a paint job and the sign for the hotel is shabby and only partly there.

I love Jokkmokk. This town is one of my favorite places and hotel Akerlund is a wonderful historical building. Simple, quiet and safe.

The staff of the hotel was courteous and the property itself was fine. But they gave me a room like a broom closet. Small and dark. And next to the actual broom closet, right on the main corridor to other rooms, so noisy as well. I asked to change rooms immediately upon seeing mine but they refused. Total rip off. I will never return as other options in Jokkmokk are much better and some are also cheaper.

Nice hotel in a rural town
The hotel was well situated in town. We were extremely pleased with the helpfulness of the staff. When we checked in, we were welcomed to a complimentary light dinner at the restaurant. The room was small, but had everything we needed. I wish there was additional sound proofing in the rooms, as we could easily hear every conversation in the neighboring room. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. They also offered a breakfast, which was small but tasty.

Inget bra stopp, mycket slitet och trasiga/lösa knappar på toa. Frukost saknades yoghurt o fil men flingor står ändå framme. Äggen tar slut. Det skall byggas om o renoveras är anledningen men serveras det frukost så bör det räcka till alla

Dåligt planerad frukost
Nöjd med allt tills sista frukosten på avresedagen. Under all kritik när det saknas fil youghert, äggröra och ägg var slut. Bättre planering måste kunna göras inför frukost som börjar 0630. Kylvara kan lagras i större mängd. Första frukosten fanns allt men kan tilläggas att brödet var gammalt och hårt. I denna prisnivå på hotell ska brödet vara färskt på morgonen.
