I've stayed at La Quinta several times as I work in the area every summer. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The rooms are always clean and comfy. However this time I booked a smoke free room but the room I received was not smoke free or had been smoked in. There was an air purifier in the room but you could smell the smoke the minute you walked in. I did check in super late and was tired so I didn't say anything to the front desk. Regardless, I will also continue to stay here as this is the first time I've been disappointed with this property.

The bathroom wasn't on good shape. Paint was caming the shower wall. The toilet wasn't working right and I asked for a wake up call which didn't happen. Overall not highly rated.

We were told at check in our room had no AC and there were no other rooms avaiable that evening. We were offered the room at half price, but were still very surprised and upset we weren't contacted ahead of time so we could've attempted to make other accomodations. Also, the next morning the entire building had no hot water. Our room smelled very musty. Our daughter was looking forward to the indoor pool but was unhappy that the water was cold each time we tried using. We would not stay again. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and they put out a nice hot breakfast each morning that is included with the room.

Everything at hotel was good room was clean, continental breakfast good first day great second day, close to both of the museums that we were going to. If and when we come back to Jamestown we will stay there again.

The first room was smelly and had a fan going to dry the wet floors. The floors were wet from the broken ac. We asked to move. There was not enough parking in the lot, so we had to park on the street. The worst part was that there was NO HOT WATER in the entire hotel in the morning. No showers. No compensation. Absolutely horrible.
