Perfect for the first timer to NYC

Magnificent location for those new to New York close to Times Square, Empire State Madison Square Gardens to name a few. all the rest of the must see places are only minits away with a large subway station that has most of the lines running through it.

Location, quiet up high, and clean!

Long weekend stay with my husband and two kids, 15 and 11. Priorities for our stay were: quiet, clean, king beds, high floor rooms. This hotel has no frills (other than breakfast), lobby is small but serviceable, only two elevators means you might wait a little bit for a ride up or downs and rooms are spartan, but it hit all the right notes for our needs. Midtown location was excellent. We spent the majority of our trip below 36th, but liked the walkability to Bryant Park, Rockefeller and the very brief time we spent in Times Square. High floors are key in NYC hotels. I would not go lower than the 20th floor on a “quieter” block like the one this hotel is on. We had two rooms one the 21st and 24th floors, respectively. Staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were ready early, and checkout is at noon instead of 10 am like other properties I considered. Felt like a good value for the money.

Good location!

Hotel was clean and the staff was nice and helpful with any questions. Hotel had a cute rooftop view of the city and a nice breakfast buffet included with the stay. I thought the location was perfect for my stay, very walkable to time square and broadway plays and conveniently located 1.5 blocks away from the subway. I would definitely look into staying here again for my next visit to NYC.
