"I chose Rays s it was conveniently located near my client. A B&B would never be my choice for a business trip but I feel lucky I found this place. Great accommodations. Felt like a mini vacation. I’m returning when I can. "

"I really appreciate how nice the owner is and everyone who helps run this place. I felt very welcomed. The bed was so comfy and cozy. I liked my room a lot. There was a fan to use (which was nice because I like white noise to sleep with) and the lamp had a warm light option which was soothing. They also had a water purifier in the fridge. I had some trouble figuring out the key code system and they were prompt in helping. It's a very cozy space and I like the neighborhood. The only issue is that the walls are extremely thin and you can hear absolutely everything. There was an event held in the space downstairs and you could easily hear the music which made taking a nap difficult. I recommend bringing ear plugs just in case. Since it's a hostel and shared space not everyone is going to have the same ideas about cleanliness. There are rules posted in the bathroom and some of the other guests were not following them which was annoying. I ended up picking up towels, toilet paper, rinsing the shower and wiping the sink down to help keep things clean. People were also not courteous about spending time in the bathroom as there is only one. But these are aspects that come with staying in a shared space. I'd definitely stay here again. "Quaint room located in the Wicker Park. Great way to experience the neighborhood. Walking distance to the Salt Shed which worked great for us. Steep staircase up to room but I felt they were open about this. Perfect for our weekend visit!"
