There is a sound system in the dining room to use with Bluetooth. There is also a concert grand piano with absolutely beautiful sound.

Entryway: A large armoire is provided for hanging up coats and clothes. Inside is a portable crib. There is a luggage rack and an umbrella stand.
Furnishings: I've furnished Palazzo Hudson with inspiration and comfort as my top priority. I mixed all of the paints myself, based on the colors of Frederick Church's Olana Mansion. The home features my personal art collection composed of everything from 1800’s Italian portraiture to contemporary art, combined with antiques, elegant furniture, chandeliers, and side lamps. All of the original wood moldings were preserved in the house, and most of the windows feature original centennial glass that creates a unique light as the sun draws across the Hudson Valley sky and drops behind the Catskills.
Entertainment: There are extensive libraries of my personal book collection inside both the house and in the Blue Library Lounge Barn. There's a flat-screen smart TV with Roku. Board games are located in the armoire in the living room. There is a chessboard in the pool house. Card decks are in drawers. There is a historic upright concert grand piano kept well-tuned and ready to play. Musicians love it! Bluetooth stereos are in the house and the backyard/pool area and pool house.

A Feast for the Senses
What a masterpiece! From the moment we walked in we were treated to amazing art on the walls-to be more accurate -the entire home is a work of art! Fresh pastries in the kitchen Cut flowers in every room (I was especially fond of the various chandeliers) We were pampered with the most luxurious bedding and comfortable beds Relaxing in the oversized bathtub with bath bombs, various soups and other products all graciously provided by the host:) The Bluetooth speakers throughout the property provided the soothing soundtrack for our stay! We felt spoiled, pampered and relaxed..and then….the hot tub and sauna! What a wonderful treat! The pool room was beautiful-so much to see, read, discover-i could’ve spent the whole time there! Every nook and corner of this lovely home was interesting and beautifully decorated- I felt as if we were vacationing in Paris:) Sienna was a wonderful host-always available for questions, she provided suggestions for restaurants and sites in the area that we enjoyed I would definitely recommend this delightful experience and hope to visit again in the warmer months to enjoy the backyard and pool as well 5 HUGE stars!

Oasis in the heart of it all
This amazingly and thoughtfully decorated property is in a great location with walking distance to the charms of Hudson. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms have been thoughtfully equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and you will want for nothing. Sienna is instantly available to answer questions, etc. And then there are the outdoor spaces which put the icing on the cake. The cedar hot tub was a joy to use while watching the winter sky and the sauna soothes away any stress you might have. Highly recommend!

Weekend Rental
My husband and I came to Hudson for a family wedding and needed a place that could accommodate our disabled son who has limited mobility for two nights. We were excited to find this place on VRBO which states that the property is great for people with limited mobility. Unfortunately, when we arrived the first thing that we noticed was that the driveway was steep and narrow which posed a problem for our son. We do have a transport chair that we would typically use, but that was not an option given the incline of the driveway. With my husband’s assistance, my son was able to walk to the front steps, but there was no handrail which would be incredibly beneficial to people with limited mobility. We did enter the house briefly, but we quickly came to the realization that this was not going to be a safe environment for our son, so we contacted the owner and informed her of our intent to find other accommodations. I was taken back by the owner’s response in that she made it seem as though this was our fault because we did not detail the extent of our son’s mobility issues. I’m sure that the house would be fine for most people, but in my opinion, this house is not great for people with limited mobility, and the description should be modified accordingly. We did end up finding room at the Wick Hotel, but it was a very expensive lesson for us to learn as we ended up having to pay the full expense of this rental (including the cleaning fee) even though we left immediately.

Great property..everything as advertised!
We were visiting Hudson for a family wedding and chose this house because of the location to downtown. Very short walk to Warren Street. The house has everything you could want, and although an older house, it is perfectly restored, clean with modern kitchen and baths. Pool area and pool house are unique, and great hang out spot. The owner provided all info required, and I highly recommend this property if you are visiting the area

We spent a few days at this house and had a great time. Beautiful home with tons of character and charm, terrific amenities (the pool area and the pool house are fantastic), and well located close Hudson’s Warren St. The hostess was very kind, responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I plan a trip to Hudson.

Property was spotless and so well appointed! Amazingly comfortable - from entryway thruto back porch
My husband, daughter, 2 sons and I were in Hudson for the first time to attend a wedding. The only problem was that we were SO comfortable in this home that we were almost late for the wedding and over an hour late for the brunch the following day because we just couldn’t tear ourselves away from relaxing all together on the very private & serene back porch! Sienna was so pleasant to deal with - our entire experience was seamless & very, very enjoyable. The bathroom tub is amazing - give yourself extra time! All the beds were extremely comfortable. The large dining room table made it easy for all of us to spread out yet be together. The kitchen is light filled, with great cabinetry & well stocked - thank you for my favorite type of tea! The only thing I couldn’t find was a scissor - and I believe there probably was one but I just couldn’t find it (another reason not to pack new clothes w tags still on- but no worries, knives suffice). I congratulate Sienna on this great home with beautiful furnishings, artwork & design pieces that all work so well together. It is very easy to tell that much thought & effort went in to planning this home & continue to go in to maintaining & sharing it with others.

Charming comfortable home
We had a very enjoyable stay at this Hudson home. Five family members shared the home while we were in town for a wedding weekend, 7/20-23, 2018. Lovely furniture, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and fabulous outdoor deck! The kitchen was roomy and had all the amenities needed. Within walking distance to town, yet very quiet and peaceful. We really loved it and would go back!

Convenient, comfortable, and classic Hudson
Our group of four friends who grew up in Hudson rented this apartment for a mid-week reunion, and it was perfect. The three bedrooms are railroad style so everyone has privacy and quiet; the sleeping porch bed is total heaven since the house is built into a hillside and the front first floor turns into a private treetop getaway in the back. We loved the outside deck with its comfortable seating, lovely herbs and flowers and even a bird feeder. Sienna's artist's eye is everywhere in the color schemes, artworks and plantings, and since all of us had lived in similar era houses in Hudson, we loved her respect for the woodwork and architectural details. The house is stocked for comfort with great shampoo, plenty of coffee, interesting books and games. The location on upper Columbia makes it easy to get everywhere, but not in the noisy thick of things. We will definitely be back!

Great location and all the comforts of home
Hudson was the perfect spring weekend getaway for my family and me. Our kids live in NYC making Hudson an easy meeting spot for all of us. A two-hour scenic train ride up the Hudson for the kids and a two-hour drive for my wife and me. Sienna’s home is only a couple of minutes’ drive to the Hudson train station and a short walk to the top of Warren Street, the main area of activity in downtown Hudson, filled with great restaurants, shops, Art Galleries, and even a bookstore that also just happens to serve craft beer! With its 3 bedrooms, two full baths, large living space and modern kitchen this home was perfect for the 5 of us. Beautifully decorated and filled with all the comforts of home. Nice deck off the back too. Sienna provided us with a detailed description of local restaurants and attractions that was very helpful and minimized our planning time while maximizing our fun time. Hospitable Haven in Hudson
This home is everything depicted in the pictures and more. It has been lovingly restored with an eye for meaningful details. The furniture is antique, but comfortable, there is plenty of light and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment to allow those who want to cook the opportunity to do so. There are two full bathrooms (one with a large, claw foot tub), which is always an added plus. There is also a back patio, with a couch and table for outdoor dining. It is located a short walk from downtown Hudson, which had many perks, including a farmer's market on Saturday morning, lots of places to eat and many art galleries. We stopped in at the art auction house and were amazed at the quality of works being offered at auction. The town has many beautiful and architecturally interesting buildings, so strolling down the streets is a fun distraction. There are also destinations a short drive away, including Olana (get reservations for the house tour in advance -- well worth it) and Core Vodka. Despite all the attractions Hudson offers, coming back to a comfortable, quiet home to spend time catching up with friends made the holiday in Hudson that much better.
