Romantic Creekside Cabin w/ New Hot Tub!

Panther Creek Cabin is a private cabin nestled between the mountain ridges along the Big Reed Island Creek in beautiful southwest Virginia. A great place for romance, reconnecting with loved ones or outdoor adventure, Panther Creek Cabin will make you feel like you have a corner of the world all to yourself! Immerse yourself in a warm, relaxing hot tub or enjoy a crackling fire in the fire pit along the soothing sounds of a flowing creek. Need to get some work done? No problem! Connect to the free Starlink High Speed Internet and find out what the rest of the world is doing. There is a smart TV with local channels and access to your favorite apps like Netflix and Hulu. If you feel like stretching your legs, take a short walk to see a beautiful waterfall called 'Hole in the Wall'. Or for a more challenging stretch, hike up nearby Fall Branch Trail to see the magnificent views of the creek from up high.

Some other things to note about Panther Creek Cabin:

- Stairs to bedroom (loft area) are steep and narrow. Panther Creek Cabin has one queen size bed and is best suited for couples. Maximum occupancy is 2.

- Check-in is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 10 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, please ask! However, an unauthorized late checkout may cost your $25 per 30 min tardiness to vacate as it impacts the schedule of our cleaning person. Please be considerate!

- There is no cell service at the cabin. Guests must be able to connect to the internet at the cabin and use wi-fi calling to text and make phone calls.

- Pets are not allowed.

-There is no trash service in this area. We ask that you please place your trash in the outside receptacle and close the lid tightly or you will encounter undesired wildlife!

- A signed rental agreement is required as well as a separate security deposit for this property. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions!

- Fishing is welcome, but Virginia requires a Virginia Freshwater Fishing License. Licenses can be purchased online at the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources website.

- Our cabin is cleaned and sanitized after every departure. The hot tub filter is cleaned and sanitized after every stay, and replaced regularly. There are rules for enjoying the hot tub that must be adhered to in accordance with the rental agreement that you are required to sign. Read and understand the rules prior to arrival. You acknowledge the rules and cancellation policy when you sign the rental agreement. There will be a charge for unscheduled hot tub drain/refill. There will be a charge for misuse of the hot tub cover. A copy of the rental agreement can be provided prior to booking upon request.

- We provide a small amount of free firewood and other items needed to get a fire started in the outdoor fire pit. More wood is available for purchase upon request. Ask host for details.

- PLEASE NOTE for November - March bookings: During these winter months, a four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is recommended in case of implement weather. Trip insurance is offered at booking and is recommended.

Panther Creek Cabin comes equipped with a full kitchen and everything you need to cook indoors or out with the exception of a conventional full size oven.

Panther Creek Cabin is 8 miles from the Allisonia entrance to the New River Trail for hiking, biking, or launching a boat. Parking at and using the boat launch is free. Panther Creek Cabin is also close to Iron Heart Winery. The cabin is also within a short driving distance to many other great places like Floyd, Christiansburg, Radford, Hillsville, Wytheville, Galax, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
