"Casa del Rio is phenomenal. The pictures do not do it justice. The common spaces are comfortable, and each bedroom has a full bathroom, and the bedrooms are, moreover, away from each other, so a big group (we were 11) can have privacy. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained, the pool likewise, and the view is incredible. Add to that a lovely breeze and beach, and it's paradise. But the best part of our stay was the staff, who took care of us and fed us the best Caribbean food ever. They made our vacation perfect and perfectly restful. The property is next to a public beach, separated by the river (really a creek), which people come to swim and bathe in. Also, at times they played a lot of music. We were fine with that, but some people might not be. Most of the time, however, the beach was empty, and the waves were great for our kids. The beach was clean, the seawater warm, the river was clear, cooler, and refreshing. Phenomenal property."

"Very nice house and pool, panoramic view. Access road is steep, narrow with loose material, it was fortunate we had a four wheel drive vehicle, a 2 wheel drive car would have difficulty. I do not know how access would be in the case of rain. Our visit was spoilt by work on the neighboring lot, an excavator with a hydraulic hammer was used to break rock and the constant hammering made staying in the house during the working day (5 days, 8.30 to 5.30) most unpleasant, we found it necessary to go out."

"We were very impressed with the location of this property. It was clean and well prepared for our arrival. It is a nice and quiet area. It is a great place for people that enjoy nature. As for our stay, Lady that takes care of the cleaning - Ara - also was preparing breakfast and lunch. She is an amazing person with a huge heart. She did everything what we asked and even more. Moreno !!! This is the best chef we ever met. We had different dinners every night, and he was surprising Us with the combination of food and how well it was prepared to our taste. The dinner looked amazing and tasted even better. The owner "Carol" must be very proud to have Ara and Moreno !!! As to the owner "Carol" - the house is very beautiful, the area and view all around is breathtaking. The pictures that show this property were taken with new furniture, but it was at least 10-15 years ago, now the furniture is in a bad shape, especially in the living room and outside on the porch, where we spent the most time. Mostly the couches and pillows. Not just Us, but I think that other clients will appreciate this change. We would love to come back again in the future. We already miss Ara and Moreno."

"Lo positivo: El lugar es bonito, rodeado de naturaleza. Lo negativo: No hay seguridad, te sientes inseguro. Problemas eléctricos, va y viene la luz, va y viene el agua, no hay agua caliente. En la habitación que me tocó, en el gazebito de afuera el drenaje estaba dañado y se estancaba el agua. En general, un lugar con mucho potencial por como está, no recomendado."
