"I reserved this room very last minute on a whim since the other hotel I was staying at lost power and had no hot water. Reserved the standard room with a queen size bed. The hotel itself was quiet and lots of parking available. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, however the room is definitely "micro"...rather small and not a lot of space. But overall it was a very comfortable stay. No microwave, coffeemaker or fridge available in the room, but continental breakfast is offered. Pretty simple stuff. Cereal,bagels and waffles. "

"We spent one night at the Hummingbird on Jan 8, 2025. Unfortunately, the power was out in part of the town of Ojai, and this included the Hummingbird Inn. The hotel staff had no control over this, but made the best of a bad situation. We were given a flashlight, electric candles, and they had the firepit outside going as well as the indoor fireplace in the lobby. We brought our dinner in there and ate by firelight! In the morning, with the power still out, they picked up coffee from another hotel so that we could have our morning coffee. We appreciated the effort.that was made."
