The place was pretty nice a little dated but clean. The Resturant in the hotel was great and the pizza and margaritas I had were great. The AC only got so cold and the fan would only work on one speed.

Surprised and disappointed in condition of motel
Motel is older and in need of updating. Questioned rather sheets had been changed or if the bed had been made after previous customer had left. Free breakfast was very disappointing with very little selection of breakfast choices. Reviews and pictures were not indicative of the condition of the motel. I will not be staying at Rodeway again.

Hotel is definitely run down condition wise. There was also a dead bug on our bathroom sink, an ant in our bed and the ac had definitely not been cleaned in probably over a year. I was a little worried to turn it on given the amount of build up. We arrived 45 minutes before check in time and were given a quote of 25-30 minutes for our room to get ready. I arrived 35 minutes later and I was told they were still cleaning our room and it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. 20 minutes later I was becoming agitated because I’ve worked in the industry for 10 years and my husband has worked in the industry for over 30 years, so we understand how this all works. Long story short, there was another room ready this whole time that they could have easily switched us to at the time we initially arrived. That was really frustrating and showed us that the team overall did not understand how to provide a great check in experience. We later had to move rooms due to a clogged toilet - there is no maintenance on staff after 6pm and there is also no front desk agent at that time of the night so you have to arrange everything through their sister property next door.

The room needed remodeling. AC was either freezing or you shot it off Toad hopped out of the bathroom when I was going to shower . The shower apparently had a water leak at one time and the Sheetrock was swelled and bad patch job . The worst breakfast I’ve ever seen,I went into town to eat instead. The desk clerk was too busy to take my complaints or even acknowledge I was there.I received a phone call a few days later and apparently they have blocked off that room until it’s repaired. I won’t ever take a chance staying there again without checking the room first so probably never will.

Property was a very unpleasant experience, had room booked 3 days in advance and arrived only to have our room taken and had to wait 1 hour in the lobby for them to come and say they had zero availability. Very rude people at the front desk and did not want to give us a refund. Absolutely do not recommend this place.

So I get there late the room was hot turned on the AC and it worked but the condenser was so clogged up that barley anything was coming out. I called down the next morning they came up litterlly used my paper towels to clean the unit which it was not really cleaning it more like packing it in more. I asked for a shop vac and I would clean it. They did bring a vacuum up but it was no shop vac. I sat there a good 15 min cleaning the thing. I got it to work beteer but really 8 should not have had this problem and they should have fixed it not me. So all in all it was okay I guess vending machines were totally out of products. Like there was zero option for anything. So not a great trip not horrible but yeah needs some work for sure.
