I liked the knotty pine walls, bed, bath, reclining chair. I didn't like the questioning about my service dog. I didn't like to hear man behind the front desk give his opinion regarding emotional support animals. He has no compassion for people who have PTSD., or other mental health conditions. In the room there was a sign saying check out was 11:00 am, well they came to my door knocking at 10: 30 saying I was supposed to be out of the room already. They were rude. They have no business to be in the hospitality business. I won't come back, nor send anyone else there way .

The property is old fashioned and charming. We would stay again. Even though it is off the highway the property itself feels like its off the beaten path. Downside, you can hear your neighbors. Great ice machine.

We loved our stay! The rustic yet updated motel was exactly what we hoped for. Very authentic! We were thrilled to have a king and queen bed in separate rooms for our family. Easy access to the gas station across the street, shops across the bridge in town, and the dunes. We highly recommend making this part of your travel plans.

The kitchen box (with kitchen supplies) was an extra $25 and didn’t include basic things like mixing bowls, measuring cups or spoons, pot holders, etc. The cabin was really cute and comfortable. Great for a family! The dog was happy. The fireplace was nice to have and the deck was lovely. The surrounding area had a lot of service equipment and the grounds weren’t well kept.

While this is an older property, the owner seems to be maintaining and improving it regularly. The room was cheery and the bed comfortable. It's not fancy, but very homey.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff lovely, it had everything we needed. They are doing something to the road in front of the reception area so there is a trench surrounding the entrance which did not have any cover over it.
