"Great place "

"Stayed 2 nights to break up my long trip. I arrived at the hotel from the airport via Uber but looks like it's easily reachable by public transit - if you don't mind longer commute and don't have lot of luggage. I did take the tram to the beautiful Amtrak train station after checkout and was super convenient. The receptionist was super friendly and even found a room ready for me before check in time. I got a corner room so could see the cathedral outside, tram line, and the capital building in the near distance. Being a historic building, it was beautifully preserved. The bathroom was modern. The room itself could use bit more storage/shelf space. The chair in front of the desk was too short and not-adjustable so had to use pillow. The digital tipping was great since it's always struggle to remember to get change or cash. Breakfast was a bit better than the standard moderate-budget hotel chain style. Included in the room rate so was a good value. Wish there was a more eco-friendly practices - plates/cups/cutlery are all disposable - but after being out of the country for 8 months, remembering how U.S. lodgings are not up to the part on sustainability as other parts of the world. And most don't have kettle. All in all, it's one of the best experiences for lodging in U.S."
