"What we really liked about the rooms at The River Hotel was how the two beds were in separate rooms, though it’s not a true suite. Having two bathrooms in a standard room is great, too, especially when traveling with teens. The front desk staff was fantastic including the valet. "

"Reasonably priced parking structure just across the street. Easy walking distance to Michigan Blvd. Very nice staff. None of the juice or soda options worked at breakfast, other than that the breakfast was great. Rooms were large, but seemed very warm and we weren’t able to get cool enough for sleeping comfortably. But, great restaurants nearby. The kids loved the pool! We would definitely return!"

"Really enjoyed staying at the Congress. The only thing I didn’t care for was the doors leading into the rooms, the panels are literally pushable to get into someone’s room due to the state of their condition. But that’s the only negative. The staff was amazing, the cleanliness was top notch. It was the perfect hotel for heading to the shamrock shuffle Sunday morning. We will be back next year to stay again. "
