Seals just steps away
Truly enjoyed walking out to Smith River each morning and watching the seals! Sitting on the front porch and listening to them chatter and the sounds of the ocean were perfectly relaxing!!

Nicely equipped. Good pots, skillets, knives & dishes. Good towels, dove soap, laundry supplies. Comfortable couch & beds. Older unit well maintained, a few issues management plans to fix but they did not impact our stay. We will be back, 4 days was not enough next time a week.

Nightmare with a happy end.
Unit was very nice, exactly as listed. Neighborhood on the other hand was horrific, like a place from horror movies. Uncleaned, potholes, dilapidated, disaster… Location was awesome, house ok, but RV Park-was unspeakable.

Not exactly what I expected
This property is in a mobile park. It was spacious as it was only my husband and I. The park itself was a bit run down looking. It did look out on the river and the ocean as I wanted. The kitchen was not really well equipped, minimal bowls, table ware etc. A small amount of salt and pepper was the only seasonings. The main bedroom didn't have a dresser or TV and it needed a nightstand. No AC because it was on the coast and needed some hooks or towel bars in the bathroom. Nice walk in shower . I was looking for a king size bed, a walk in shower and a water view which this all had. if a family needed a tub for children this would not work for that. Some games and movies in the unit and the rec center was real close. I thought this would be in Cresent City when I booked it but it is 10 miles south of Brookings and 15 miles notth of Cresent City. It was quite and served our purpose.

We loved staying at this property. The furnishings were newer, the beds were great, the front porch was awesome to sit on to see the water and hear the waves, it was quite and the surrounding neighbors were friendly. Just watch for the potholes driving in. The property is a little closer to Brookings than Crescent City. So we spent most of our time in Brookings.

The house and the location lived up to the pictures. Appreciated the view from living room and deck. Easy access to river/beach. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. . . .Quiet and the people in this riverfront resort made us feel welcome. well stocked kitchen too. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view
The property was nice. It’s a trailer surrounded by lots of other trailers and RVs. It was clean and comfortable. There were no dressers in the bedrooms, no coffee tables and few side tables in the living room. We would stay there again. The shocking part of staying there was driving through the rest of the trailer park. It really is ghetto scary in parts of it. We did not feel unsafe.

First time staying in Smith River- perfect location to visit Brookings as well as Crescent City sites. Extremely comfortable accommodations! Neighborhood was so peaceful & quiet at night- drift to sleep listening to the waves. Thank you for the amazing vacation!

Extremely Clean, Great View !
Overall this was an excellent house. Very clean, comfortable new furniture and mattresses - by the way, all the pots are in the pantry! We came from the North and GPS took us right to the house, the office however, is just past the entrance so it took a few minutes to find it. This home is behind a RV camping place and the short roads are potholed. The view is fabulous, sunset, waves splashing in the distance. We stayed 2 nights - in my opinion a short stay is fine at this spot. Most likely the best looking house in the area!

This home was roomy, well appointed, nice linens, I love the sheet and blanket set up on the beds. The home is great! I didn't love the neighborhood. It wasn't terrible, but could be cleaner. Check in and out was very simple!

Coast trip
Short walk to the Smith River and the Ocean. Loved the sea otters and birds. Great View. The interior of the property was very clean and comfy. The surrounding neighborhood looked a little rough, but we had no problems and everyone was friendly. Would stay again.

Private beach and quiet house
We loved our stay at this house. House was very clean and spacious. It could have used a few more kitchen utensils and pots and pans but we made do. Used the grill one evening. We were just steps from the beach. We were able to launch our kayaks from there which was really nice not to have to find a place to put them in. Enjoyed paddling with the harbor seals and otters. Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the quiet beach.

Wonderful stay
This was our second stay at this property. We stay there for Thanksgiving of last year and fell in love with the property. We came back for our anniversary this last weekend and plan on coming back as much as we can. LOVE IT!!!

The location and Ocean View great. The main shower was clogged so you stand in your own bath water. There was a few light bulbs out. Mattress and outdated carpet weren't great ended up sleeping on the sofa or the second night. The condition of the property on the outside has a lot to be desired.

Comfortable home and great ocean/river view.
The house was very comfortable but with a few updates it would be perfect. Kitchen could use a few additions in eating and serving utensils. The toilet seat in the main bathroom needs repaired. We left word with the office so I'm hoping it was fixed. Enjoyed walking on the beach and meeting other tenants fishing.

Diamond in the rough
We arrived late at night and it was very dark. Once we turned off the HWY and on to the road that takes you past the RV park we were concerned, but then the street opened up to the row of manufactured homes and we were relieved. It was very dark and we could not see what our view would be in the morning. My husband woke me up early and said, “You have got to come here. You are not going to believe this.” He was right. The ocean was 100 yards from the front porch and we had a gorgeous unobstructed view of the water. The kids loved playing on the rocky beach and observing the seals. The Smith River meets the ocean in this little harbor and there is a narrow landform that the waves crash on before they reach the beach closest to the home. This is why we couldn’t hear the ocean on our arrival even though it was so close. It appears to be a beautiful place to paddle board or kayak. There were fishermen out every day in small boats. The home was spacious and clean. The bedding was comfortable and of good quality. The kitchen and laundry room have high quality appliances. We visited Jedidiah State Park (15 min) and Prairie Creek State Park (60 min). We picked up groceries from the Walmart in Crescent City, CA (20 min). We also visited Harbor, Oregon (10 min) We would definitely stay at this property again.

Amazing view
Great place to stay nice and quiet worked perfect for the weekend stay. The barbeque's where a plus we had the choice of gas or charcoal. I do recomend that you bring a fan or get one once arriving it was difficult to cool the home down. The whole house fan wasnt the best when the sun was on the front of the home. We would return
