Hotel is very dated, the outside areas are very pretty and the pools looked nice. It is lots of walking to the main building, but easy to walk through each building. The first day my ac went out and was blowing hot air, maintenance fixed it quickly. There was also not much hot water, showers were cold. The shower curtain smelled of mildew and the towels were frayed. There were lots of stains on the hall carpets. One of our rooms had the fire alarm hanging off the wall, bathroom door was broken and locked you in, stains on the walls, and stains in the shower. The hotel is too expensive to be this run down.

The hotel has good bones, it might be very nice if renovated, but currently it is run down & old. Every staff that we interacted was pleasant & polite. Maid service was non existent. There was no cold water in our room, so showers were scalding hot. That being said, the fire pits in the pool area were a nice place to gather in the evenings & served our group well. Although they said they were at full capacity, the pool rarely had more than 1 or 2 other guests?

We’ve stayed at the hotel twice before when it was Margaritaville and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately right now it seems to be in transition with new ownership and there are some gaping holes including no service at the pool, the pool being absolutely ice cold even in high heat days (not one person was in the pool it was that cold), no more live music in the lounge, everything closing at 9pm, art missing from the walls, signs missing from the bars/restaurants, menus are just paper print outs, the shop or cafe being completely empty, the hallways being dirty, room only being cleaned once during a five day stay, and more. We love the size of the resort and the rooms, but the whole place is in dire need of attention. Staff were really nice when we saw them, but it was just very dead and lacklustre at the hotel. It’s too bad as we had an amazing time the other two visits in 2023 so we know what the place can be like.

We were promised a margaritaville level experience and we first got put in a really poor room . The resort was almost empty . I went to pool near checkin and it had 10 people there . We asked for a new room and got it but there was nobody eg staff/guests at that part of the hotel . The pool bar was closed , the fire pit was locked . We had to ask for water and coffee everyday . When we checked out we pulled the sheets off the bed for house keeping and discovered blood stains on the matress cover . The inroom phone didn’t work and we told them and they did nothing . We still got charged resort fee . The worst experience ever for $ 400 a night

Staff were friendly and helpful. We had to ask for room towels and for housekeeping to clean our room a couple of the nights. Pool areas were nice. Seems understaffed.

This place was not worth the money I spent. The jacuzzi didn't work, the pool was dirty. There was no bartender at one pull location, and the pool was dirty. I do not recommend this place. Didn't even see any staff around anywhere
