Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience. The room was shabby with a broken window that you literally could open up and jump outside if you wanted to, moldy bathroom, chipped up wood vanity, unclean sheets, unclean floor and dirty pool/hot tub. The manager was quite rude when I asked for clean blankets and told me that they didn't have any blankets left, but then went in the back and said he found some. The "hot" breakfast consists on waffles only with one waffle machine for all of the guests to use that takes 3 minutes per waffle. The breakfast line was long, you had to consistently ask them to refill empty items (at which time they would act annoyed), and it contained mostly continental breakfast items. The breakfast area was also small. The exterior looks nothing like the photo. It is quite run down with ripped curtains in some room that you could see from outside and doors that have a badge reader but that didn't lock because they were broken. Overall, it was a bad experience and we really should have left and just ate the cost and found a decent hotel to stay at.

The Econo Lodge is easy to find in Duluth next to the Miller Hill Mall. It is located next to a highway but the room we had, which was on the end and nearest to the highway, was very quiet. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room too. The clerk who checked us in was very sweet and even suggested a Mexican restaurant, Maya, which was next to Econo Lodge. We’d recommend this hotel!

It was a lovely stay! i will say in the night it was a little noisy with other tenants slamming doors but nothing too bad. Also one of our beds didn't have a blanket on it but we were okay!

We requested easy access to walk for my 86 year old Mother. She also called prior to our visit to ensure easy access. She uses a walker. Her room was down a long hallway, no way near the front. Not handicap friendly at all. I would not recommend!

This property was one of the few remaining in Duluth during a busy fall weekend. It was adequate and met our needs. Getting to it through old pot-holed back roads and old parking lots was a bit of adventure. There was a busy Mexican restaurant next door that probably added to the noise and drunk guests in the building.

This hotel is in serious disrepair. The hotel and room were filthy. We checked in and saw the room and immediately cancelled the reservation. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to cancel without penalty. We stayed at a hotel down the road. Thank goodness there were rooms available.

The property itself was really run down. When I first saw the exterior I worried that perhaps I made a poor choice! The entrance didn't look anything like the photo—no sign, no grass or landscaping, broken asphalt road leading in. I reserved through Expedia ($100/night) and when I arrived, EconoLodge website said the room was $56/night (and only 2 stars). The two good things: Room was very clean (yay!) and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
