Quaint. We were in the first room at the top of the stairs so loud with people going to their rooms every night then got woken up at ~4am ours first night by someone looking for something on the main floor and had turn on lights. Only window covering was see through light curtains. Not the place for light sleepers. It was an ok stay. Hard to find the owners when we needed something. Also no way to lock the room at night so we placed a chair in front of the door...unsettling.

Beautiful house and garden with wonderful hosts
Mireille and Jean jacque are a delightful and friendly couple who do everything to make your stay a delight. It was the little details that made our stay memorable such as the freshly picked flowers from their beautiful garden which were placed on the breakfast tables. Breakfast itself was a beautiful feast of delightful pastries and home baked cakes, yogurt and jams. The only thing stopping me from giving it a full score was the shower in the safari room which was a shower attachment on the bath and was difficult to use.

Brilliant stay...free wine and nibbles on arrival for the Beaujolais celebration weekend...super evening meals at 17 euros incl wine...Bril breakfasts and they have a tasting cave....we had the bubble bath room with free spa access..little English but oh so friendly
