I have stayed at this facility several times before and I have to say that I was always impressed with the facility. However, I was disappointed with our stay this time because of several things. First, we arrived just 2 hours right after our check in and it was not busy. We were so tired so I did not pay attention to the surroundings. The following day I noticed that we were given a handicapped room. It was totally a hot mess to take a shower if you don’t need a room like this. Also, I called to discuss this with the front desk and it took several attempts to finally get ahold of someone. He offered a different room, but I don’t understand why we would be assigned to this room in the first place if I didn’t asked for it. Going back on check in date, there was hardly anyone in the facility when we arrived. The parking lot was pretty much empty, so assigning us to this room was unnecessary and people might actually need this room. Anyway, I declined to be assigned to a different room as we would be checking out the following day, so I told him that it would be messy to clean up because water was everywhere, including close to the toilet bowl. So that was the end of the conversation and we left our hotel for the entire day, not returning until late that day. We came back and no cleaning was done! It is just terrible for cleaning to be done. I did not put a sign at the door to say “no cleaning” And they already know that the bathroom was dirty so it needed cleaning.
