The hotel is on the older side, but was clean with no weird odors. I only had a bagel for breakfast, but, the hot food looked good and there were plenty of options. Check in was a breeze and there were no issues with my key not working. There were plenty of plugs (USB and regular) in the room I stayed in. The bed was neither super comfortable nor super uncomfortable. My only two complaints are one, there was nothing to block the noise from the outside corridor into the room. I was on the first floor, so, got to hear a lot of very loud conversations as people walked up and down the hall to the elevators. Fortunately, by about 11:30 people were either tucked up in bed or made more of an effort to be quiet. My second complaint would be the towels. They were on the smaller side, like the size you would use to wrap your hair up in, and extremely rough. A bit of fabric softener would be in order I think. Overall, the stay was nice and I would stay there again. But, not on the first floor.

Hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Our first floor room had a musty smell, the coffee maker was non-functioning, and worst of all the window had no lock whatsoever, making it ever so easy and effortless for any random person (or criminal) off the street to quickly gain access to the room. These problems and concerns were conveyed to the front desk staff, who very quickly and kindly arranged a replacement room on the second floor. Nonetheless, all future travelers should take heed to check the room windows and locks, and the hotel itself should take note to rectify any such serious safety issues, at the very least for liability purposes and any potential lawsuits if heaven forbid a hotel patron were to be harmed as a result of property neglect by the management. Otherwise, for a budget hotel, the stay was ok, the breakfast was good, the location convenient, and front desk staff very adept. But for future visits, we will most likely choose a more safe and sound spot.

Centrally located within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. However, the hotel needs major updates. The carpet is coming apart in multiple areas, the only pillows they give you are square decorative type pillows, the elevator is sketchy AF. Also, there are no outlets (except maybe on in the bathroom) for you to charge your gear. No USB ports either.

Almost every time we came back to our room we would have to get new cards due to the previous ones not working. Breakfast was eh, not many options. Almost every time expect for once there was no waffle batter; no matter the time I came in besides when breakfast first opens.

Front desk was friendly and helpful and the housekeeping personnel were also friendly. Breakfast was excellent: fresh-cooked cheese omelet, scrambled eggs with mixed in taco meat, hot oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, hot chocolate, waffles, muffins, toast, and bagels. Excellent choices, and the personnel kept cooking eggs up until right before closing down breakfast, and they kept all offerings restocked. The room was comfortable enough, beds were OK and the linens appeared to be clean. The bathroom was clean. No insects detected and no off-odors. However, it is an older property. The carpets are worn, especially in the hallways, and are wrinkled up in some places, not quite getting to the tripping hazard level, but working toward it. The black-out curtains in the room would not open, so the room had no natural light. The room had a combination desk-wardrobe that had ample outlets & USB connections. They charge a $100 damage deposit. The chair had multiple rips in the faux leather upholstery, I took photos and showed the desk clerk right away to ensure we were not charged. He offered to change it out, but I told him that was not necessary; I just wanted to be sure we would not be be charged. The pool was “closed for the season.” It looked to be well maintained, closed for the season? This is Texas in September, and the temperature is upper 80’s on a cool day. That was disappointing. Overall, though, a comfortable stay. Would stay again.

Great location. Is it basically a street away from pubs, restaurants, bars, etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The property outside needs some renovations but the rooms seems fine, not great but fine. I do recommend it

Is what it is, decent place worth the extra $20-30 to upgrade from motel 6 for sure. Not clean not filthy Did see some bugs, smelled a bit like a mortuary, Wango (hope I spelled that right) was very nice and efficient at check-in. Location is the definite highlight.
