We were on our way home to houston when stopped here for overnight. the hotel itself, breakfast and facilities were above average. We happen to left my son's rain jacket that my wife called to request to have it mailed to us. Manager Kareem help facilitate our request and we are so grateful!

Under new Mgmnt, property has improved. It doesn’t negate its vulnerable location, & for me personally, I disliked that the bathrooms weren’t updated/very clean, that few services on property are available- It’s definitely okay in a pinch! Don’t misunderstand. But as a traveler to/out of area for medical purposes/treatment, it’s not my 1st choice. So long as fine w/ a lackluster refrigerator, driving to get needed items/meals—it’s def a fine property, & lower priced than some competitors.

The hotel overall was ok. Its very worn and I saw mold in several areas. Its actually rated much higher than it should be but that is probably because of the price. The lobby looks good and breakfast is slim. None of the staff except front desk speaks english and communication is hard when asking for towels and such!

The bathroom in the room was not clean and not properly stocked. The refrigerator did not work. They brought in a new one, and claimed it worked, but it didn’t. Turned out there was an electrical issue and we had to plug it into a different outlet. We got locked out of our room right before checkout trying to load the car. The staff seemed mostly irritated that they had to help at all. The exception was the woman who checked us in. She was extremely friendly.

Only issue was a very large Texas size cockroach in the bathroom sink one night. Good variety for breakfast Soda vending machine ran out of Diet Coke and did not hold any other diet sodas
