"My first time in TCI and it was an absolute dream. Went on a solo trip for my birthday. My room was very clean and had a washer n dryer which was very convenient after the beach. The outside patio was covered so you could also open the door at night and hear outside noise w/O worrying about mosquitoes. Some things I didn't like: charged $40 instead of $20 for the taxi ride from the airport because I was traveling alone. My room had a shower and no bathtub. The East property is not close to things like the West property so you have to pay a lot of taxi fares to do stuff. The front desk receptionist also were not entirely helpful. They would only offer what you would ask and didn't give outside of the box suggestions. I also almost died of thirst one night because there weren't any water on the property or in the room after hours. The restaurant was also understaffed so couldn't provide room service.
All in all though, my time spent on the island was an absolute dream!! Can't wait to go back!"
