"It was great! The plaza is nicely situated close to a neighborhood with lots of food and entertainment options yet is also an easy walk to the Mall and the White House. The Hotel's staff were friendly and efficient and check in and check out were very smoothly handled at relatively busy times. We had a room with a great view of the city and though the room was medium in size at best but it was clean, the beds were comfy, the pillows were quality, the towels were soft, and thermostat worked- so nothing to complain about. The breakfast (we ate twice) was delicious, had a very good ratio of quality to price, and the service was friendly and fast. The parking was under the hotel and it was easy in and easy out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to check out DC."

"We stayed here 2 nights and the hotel was nice. It was clean and staff was friendly. We got a room on the 8th floor and although the other guests were a little noisy. It was overall a good stay. We would stay here again."

"Great value with included breakfast. Breakfast was great ! The “Happy Hour snack” left a little to be desired. Chips and salsa was not what I was expecting. Convenient access to the Metro. Paying $12 per night for parking seemed like a stretch."

"I decided to do a staycation this weekend after being referred to The Bethesdan by a few friends. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and appreciated that everything was within close walking distance (restaurants, bars, shopping, and public parking lots). Tip: Park in the public lot instead of paying the $40 onsite rate. The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the bartender was friendly as well; great happy hour specials! I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend it. "
