I’m a little perplexed by the high ratings this hotel has received as it led me to believe it was a nicer hotel than what we experienced. I’m partly to blame as I did not delve deeper into reviews and was simply looking for an inexpensive room for a night while traveling to see family. We had our dogs with us so our options were limited, but despite being told the entire hotel is a “smoke free” facility, I’m certain smoking occurred at some point in the past in our room. Aside from the dated look of our room and being right next to the interstate which was incredibly loud, the level of cleanliness left me feeling like I didn’t want to walk on the carpet without something on my feet. Granted I’ve stayed in worse places, but I’ve also stayed in much nicer facilities as well so that is why I gave it an average rating. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again, but as my husband likes to say ‘It beats a sharp stick in the eye!’

I booked a king bed room but was given a room with two queen beds. Currently I have two charges on my card 84.18 through hotels.dom and 71.34 through the hotel. Brought both the king bed situation and the double charge situation up to the hotel and they said they are not responsible for booking through third party apps and suggested I contact you

when checking in, the clerk began to check me in then took a phone call and I had to wait nearly 20 minutes until he finished the phone call to check me in. This was at 10:20 pm.. The customer who was in the lobby and waiting to be checked in should have been waited on first and not made to wait while the clerk took a phone call.
