Room was spotless and comfortable. Staff were like everyone in New Zealand, accommodating, knowledgeable and polite. The hotel restaurant had a buffet breakfast, but order from the menu. The waffles with caramelized bananas, berry compote and maple syrup was devine.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly well appointed and looked newly renovated. There were new laundry facilities on our floor. The view from our room was disappointing in that it looked out on the wall of the building next door. The hotel was a short walk to the city core.

Brilliant hotel with lovely reception staff
Lovely new hotel 10 minutes walk from Christchurch centre. Amazing service from the receptionist on arrival and loved the welcome brownie. Room nice and clean and enough space for 2. 1 washing machine and dryer for guest use at $4 a usage which we utilised. Some noise in corridors from other guests in large group. Would stay again & recommend to others.

The receptionist looks as if she didn’t want to be there. Not good at explaining things. She speaks like a robot. Not cheerful enough ro be working at the front deck. Parking is not ideal. We paid for onsite but couldn’t park at our own spot. When booking for parking there was no confirmation email send through. We have to ring up and check. The restaurant the guy who work in there was so loud and not professional. Keep talking to the customer he likes and ignore the rest of the guests. No greeting from restaurant people as he was busy chatting. The shower is not clean. Yellow stain of soap scum can be seen on the tile and shower glass

Highly Recommended in Christchurch
Really nice hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. Very nice room. Hotel has a restaurant but I was craving Thai food so walked about a block to a Thai Restaurant and enjoyed my vegetable curry! Also got caught up on my laundry here for NZ$8 total. Laundry room (the one on 3rd floor) was very clean. Another set of machines on first floor, I understand.
